I don't think you have known this guy truely, there are people who talks one thing but they do completly different think. In my openion this will not be the only bad thing he will do. Listen to my advice, stay away from this guy forever, if u don't, he will use you again, these kind of people always needs the hand of nice guy they try to stay connected and they will completely talk nice thing and to take the trust and next thing in their mind is take advantage of it. Trust me how I was taken advantage of similar situation. My situation was so bad  I thought it was like a dream or like a movie story.
