Ahhh Deep Purple in Kathmandu..that's the first cool band ever to be visiting Nepal( not that i didn't like Bryan adams, or MLTR) but Deep purple is deep purle..can't beat that...back in the days when i was in nepal, i used 2 dream 2 c all those classic rock bands but all in vain...if i were in nepal i would definitely go but i haven't seen them in US yet(don't know if they ever toured in US in the last few years or so) though i have seen a lota other bands..
Neverthless, i hope sponsors get some bad ass sound system(Marshall amplifiers)to rock the night en Kathmanduuuu...It takes me back in +2 days when i used to listen to all those classic rocks(reminds me of classic rock mp3s..hehe..n yea i still have those old casettes as well back home)..
How can i forget the Smoke in the water riff- one of the coolest riff of all times...one of the first that i learned when started learning power chords....Ah my old good times!!! It could be either the opening/closing song in the concert..."Soldier of Fortune" reminds me of the Best of Classic Rock album(vol 2 i believe, one of my fav. albums back then)...Highway star, Child in time, Black Night, Speed King are some of my other favorites...The only sad thing is Ritchie Blackmore won't be there..Well anyways guyz i know i won't b there but for all those who's gonna attend the show have a one fkn badazz nite..Rock n roll aint' bad pollution!!!
