On a serious note, I would suggest you continue your undergraduate, and during senior years take some IT training or prepare yourself and get some certificate. Do not wait to finish your undergraduate degree to search for jobs (even internship) or IT trainings/certificates. This will prepare you better to land in job market. Regarding IT there are wide variety of subjects you can choose which also depends on your education and knowledge so far. If you know nothing about the IT, I suggest you spend your more time on undergraduates and take IT courses on electives which give you some idea on your interest. If IT does not interest you there are so many other fields your education will guide you. You wont get locked in IT doing undergraduate in IT. Just have some patience.
Do not ever try to take short cut in life, but do not waste any legal opportunity that comes to you. Seek ways out of working in gas station. Continue your undergraduate, have some patience for few years and you will be happy.
By the way do not forget to buy lottery once in a while.
