I am trying to seek divorce from my wife. We got married 2 years ago but we didn't register our marriage. Do I have to get marriage certification in Nepal to get divorced? What is the proper procedure?

in USA, first, MAKE A PRE_NUP! with lawyers, legally! 2nd, never marry or live in a "community property" state. Never trust a woman, coz she WILL leave you once she gets her green card and becomes westernized!

Thank you all for your responses. We got married according to hindu tradition and invited our relatives and friends. I think it is considered as marriage even if we don't register our marriage at CDO office. Does anybody have any idea about this? She threatens me with suicide if I disagree with her about anything. Basically she is wreaking havoc in my personal life.

suicide dhamki bhane ke bho ta..man she ain't gonna kill herself. as long as you don't kill her...all is good.
