Chapter one
The Story Continued
Once upon a time, long, long ago a king and queen ruled over a distant land. King and queen were wise, honest with a good heart. They have ruled over the distant land for more than hundred years; king’s father before him and his grandfather before the king. They all had a child of their own but not the king and queen. Of course, king had no regrets or shame; not having child of his own but queen was obsessed with having a child.
As the years passed by, queen became more and more obsessed having a child of her own. She stopped eating, responding to the people of the land and even her own husband. She often requested to have a child, which was not possible but she didn’t stop believing.
One winter day, the queen was doing needle work while gazing out her ebony window at the new fallen snow. A bird flew by the window startling the queen and she pricked her finger. A single drop of blood fell on the snow outside her window. As she looked at the blood on the snow she said to herself, ‘Oh, how I wish that I had a daughter that had skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, and hair as black as ebony.’
Just like that, her prayers been heard and the next winter, she was with child just like she’d wished for; skin white as snow, lips as red as blood and hair as black as ebony. But the tragedy kept on knocking on their door steps—that very night after queen gave a birth, she died.
The people of distant land believed that, a king without a queen is a curse and no king shall rule the kingdom without a queen, so the wise king married a princess from another kingdom called “Apple Castle”, land where people grow apples. Actually the Apple Castle was covered with the forest of Apples and nothing else, not even a mimosa.
The new queen was named Aroma; a beautiful, fair skin with dark hair and a smile that can diminish the sorrow of the devil himself but inside she had a dark heart and a black magic that she had kept with herself.
She owned a magic mirror, of which she would daily ask, Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all? Each time this question was asked, the mirror would give the same answer, "Thou, O Queen, art the fairest of all." This pleased the queen greatly as she knew that her magical mirror could speak nothing but the truth.
One morning she dressed up all in black with all the diamonds on it and asked the mirror, ‘Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?’
The mirror replied, ‘You, my queen, are fair; it is true. But Snow White is even fairer than you.’
She was shocked and an evil thought ran through her mind. She ordered a huntsman to take Snow White into the forest, kill her and bring back her heart so that she could eat and ease her anger and rage. Thou she wanted to be the fairest of them all.
As the story went by, as the huntsman spared snow white’s life, evil queen herself went to kill her—which did failed after she was rescued by the prince and the seven dwarfs and on the day of her wedding; the evil queen was vanished from the land not to return again.
Forever.
Chapter two
Prophecy of the Queen
But the prophecy hadn’t been fulfilled yet.
Before Snow White was born with the queen’s wish, she didn’t appear just magically with her heart full words. As queen’s blood touched the snow, something white image like a man or something else with a long white stick with a shiny oval shaped diamond sparkled on his right hand. The man was eight feet tall and his left hand was dark as the night. He had no eyes; only the mouth and the rest part of the body was all white just like a lump of snow.
As the queen asked the snowman, ‘Who are you?’ he replied, ‘I can grant your wish.’
The queen was so happy that she didn’t even thought for a second about the outcome and simply said yes. The snowman said, in order to grant her a wish of a child, he has to take another soul closer to the queen. The queen asked to take her life and grant her wish. Then the snowman vanished without a word. It was like a bad dream to the queen and her wish didn’t get fulfilled. She waited and waited but there was no sign of her being with a child.
Soon, she forgot about the snowman and the next winter, the first snowfall appeared on her window. She went towards the window and closed her eyes, again wishing the same thing. Before she could open her eyes, she felt something on her stomach—as she opened her eyes she saw her belly was swollen up and all of a sudden she fell down on the floor.
That night she gave birth to a child, a girl, a princess, exactly how she has wished for a year before. She now knew that the snowman wasn’t just a dream. As much she was happy to see her daughter, she was sad that she had to give her soul to the snowman. King and queen named their daughter Snow White. The queen watched her daughter that whole night and in the next morning, her soul was taken away.
Now the vanished evil queen went back to her home, Apple Castle and begged to take her in but her father and mother disgraced her and asked her to leave the palace or she’ll be executed or imprisoned for the rest of her life. The sad evil queen sat down with her eyes full of tears under an apple tree and cried for hours. Her bent knees were holding her head and hours later her sobbing stopped. She raised her head with an angry face and her eyes were as red as blood. The rage and humiliation made her more evil than ever. She then stood up and looked at the thick apple forest and made a fist of her hand.
She roared for the snowman and just about time, he appeared with the same appearance as he did before with the queen. The evil queen had known about the snowman but she wasn’t sure whether he existed or not. Her words been heard and there he was, the snowman.
The evil queen asked, ‘Can you fulfill my wish as you did to the queen?’
‘I had fulfilled many wishes to many queens, my queen’
‘Queen of distant land’
‘Yes of course, you’re right, my queen.’
‘Stop calling me my queen. I'm not a queen, at-least, not yet.’
The snowman shook his faceless head.
‘I want you to fulfill my wish’, the evil queen asked.
‘For the wish to be fulfilled, you’ve to sacrifice your closest one’s soul and trade it to me.’
The evil queen laughed like a demon and said, ‘I’ll give you thousand souls including my father and mother.’
The snowman smiled and the evil queen was about to speak, he replied, ‘I cannot take all their souls but it’s up to you to decide with the thousands soul.’
‘Fine’, the evil queen replied, ‘Take my father and mother’s soul and in return grant me power to be a witch with greatest power in the world.’
‘I can grant your wish but you cannot call me back if something went wrong. I only appear once for every soul.’
‘Yes’
Then again without another word, the snowman vanished.
Chapter Three
Rise of an evil
Deep dark inside the forest, she built a house made of wood and a garden full of apples and she did a magic circling around the land. As she was doing her magic, a dark black circle of smoke appeared with thunder and lightning above the roof of the pointed house. Seconds later, drops of rain fall down towards the house but didn’t touch the ground. The drops of rain started bouncing up and down like a snail in the air and seconds later, the drops color transformed into red drops.
The evil queen touched the drops and the drops travelled inside the house. Only few drops remained outside the house, still bouncing like a snail in the mid air.
Now, it was time to return back home. The castle seemed terrified and the screaming and crying with great pain banged all the walls of the castle. Her father and mother were both dead on their bed and the wise men were voting for the next king and queen before anything cruel happened to the Apple Castle. As the wise men sitting around the long circle table on their golden chair were about to give a vote, evil queen arrived with her head held high.
‘Aroma, what’re you doing here?’ one of the seven wise men spoke, standing up.
‘I'm here to take back what’s mine Mr. Bubble.’
‘You cannot do that princess; you’re exiled from the castle and not to return back from, ever again.’
‘I take no orders from you Mr. Old man’, she screamed, quickly turning around, and pointing her index finger to all the wise men present there, ‘Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve work to do and of course rule my land.’
‘Forgive me princess Aroma, but first we have to vote for the throne…’
Before the other wise men complete his sentence Aroma shouted, ‘Do you people want to die?’
‘You cannot just walk into here and claim for what not yours.’
Then the evil queen travelled her index finger forward towards one of the wise men and touched on his head. Before he could feel the touch or pain, his head dropped down on the table—he died instantly.
‘Any volunteers?’
Everyone shook their head.
She smiled. ‘Then it’s settled, I'm your new queen and the king now. Off you people go or I won't hesitate to take your life with my own bare hands.’
The frightened wise men quickly left the room as the evil queen climbed on to the throne and sat with her arms holding a golden stick. She watched the golden stick and with her magic, she transformed the golden to black with a pointed sharp end and the other end changed as a lotus flower with a glowing fire above it.
‘I'm your god now’, she laughed. ‘I’ll come for you princess…….. Snow White.’
As the evil queen was busy decorating her throne and the room with dozens of green and red lights, Bubble—the wise man, came running inside. He was panting and some kind of terror was visible on his face. He said that the entire apple trees were dead and the people were lying dead on their own house. Everyone on the land were dying and turning into ashes. Evil queen rose up from the throne and walked towards the balcony where king and queen before her stood to witness their people.
‘People of Apple Castle, hear me out’, the evil queen spoke out loud, ‘I'm your new queen now and you people should bow down against me.’
Everyone down the castle glanced up in wonder and mouthed each other with great confusion. One of the old women asked about the new king and the queen answered that there’ll be no king, only the queen. People shouted it’ll bring evil without a king, destruction perhaps— but the evil queen objected on that.
‘I'm your king and the queen; both from this day and if you want to survive, you’ll bow down to me and follow me or else everyone you’ve ever loved will die.’
‘How can you save us all?’ crowd shouted.
‘Give me your word and I’ll grant your wish.’
People of the castle talked to each other and one of the oldest man from the people replied, ‘we’ll do whatever you say my queen but please save……. the people.’
‘Fine’, she said, and waved her hand around. ‘Now, from this day, every family tree of yours belongs to me—even the unborn child.’
People had no choice rather to accept her offer. Her wicked voice made them lure before her. It was better not to lose the loved one rather than watch them die. Slowly the people of the land started to heal and everyone on the land bowed down to the queen.
“We shall rise and conquer the entire land. The next blood moon—my powers will grow stronger and you people will fight for me. Revenge is mine”, She shouted.
The people began to cheer and roar.
“Prepare for the war”, she roared again.
Chapter Four
Dwarf’s story
One dwarf among the seven witnessed the whole scene from the distant behind the dead apple tree and rushed back to his hood. The dwarf was there to trade gold with apples for his crew and he was the wisest from the other entire dwarfs. Nobody had their names, just the numbers to count but he had a name; Tingle—the second dwarf. He was the wisest of all and he was the leader of the seven dwarfs. He knew the second he saw the scenario of the Apple Castle and he knew that his closest one was in danger—Snow White. He had to warn his crew and Snow White.
But there was a problem—world hadn’t seen the dwarf’s in real and dwarf’s were just a story to the rest of the world. He couldn’t peek though the Rock Castle of Butterfly land without being seen to spread the word but he had to send the words to princess Snow White, anyhow. That night, after returning from the Apple Castle, he gathered his rest six of his crew and explained everything he witnessed about the retaliation. The entire seven dwarfs had their talk and finally came to a point to warn Snow White and to risk their own secret; which had been a secret from thousands of years. They voted to be a secret even if they got captured in the process or spell the suicide prayer to protect them. All the entire dwarfs agreed to the conclusion and headed for the castle where Snow White lived.
The entire seven dwarfs had a black mask and black makeup on their entire body to avoid the distraction from the real word and they were heading to the Butterfly land where Snow White lived with her prince.
To enter the Butterfly land, one has to check in or be a captive. There was no other option to be through the gates of that land and the seven dwarfs knew that but they had a plan to get in. One of the youngest dwarfs volunteered to get caught while the rest might get a chance to enter the premises to warn the princess. They took a risk task and one of the dwarfs volunteered to get caught.
The youngest dwarf kicked one of the guards and ran off to distract them. As he kicked the guard on the silver gate on the entrance, he ran off and as the guard chased him—to capture. He was running and the guard was after him, chasing with his weapon asking him to stop so that his life would be spared but the youngest dwarf kept on running like the wind.
As the gates been unprotected, the rest of the dwarfs entered the premises and spread to deliver the message to Snow White but there, something happened.
Terrible one.
Every one of the dwarfs got caught by an army guarding the castle. The entire six dwarfs asked to speak to the princess but the guards and the head of the army didn’t respond them, instead he referred the guards to take them to the maximum security prison down the hall to the underground; which was thirty feet down the ground, which was referred as an asylum for who betrayed and for the enemy of the Butterfly Land.
Chapter Five
Riot in Distant Land
Back at the Distant Land, king was ready to choose his next wife among thirteen different women from far away land. Every one of them was pretty but he had to choose one. The king walked among the women watching their faces and stopped at number seven. The woman and the king smiled while the royal families present there applauded.
The wedding was fixed the same day and only few of the time were left to declare a new queen. The people of distant land were excited to see their new queen and every one of the people—women with child, young children, old men and women, crying baby on mother’s arms, elder people and even the soldier were out on the street, watching over the castle.
Then all of a sudden, people started to scream as the neighing of horses, thudding of metal shields and the marching band of enemy entered the distant land. The evil queen brought her entire army with her to conquer distant land. People scattered everywhere, running for their lives and the soldiers who tried to stop them lay to the ground—dead. The evil queen was on a black horse. Horse eyes were black and his tail was floating in the air as if it was on the water. The evil queen was dressed on black from top to bottom, eye shadowed black and even her lips were black.
The wedding stopped as the evil queen entered inside the premises with her army killing the guards. It was a massacre in the peaceful land which no one had expected in their dreams. The noble king ordered the evil queen to leave but instead she refused and asked for a fight. She killed the woman who was ready to marry the king by piercing a sword inside her heart. The sword flew over her—the evil queen did a magic.
‘No one will ever marry you my noble king. As I'm alone, you’ll be the same.’
The furious king pulled out his sword and attacked the evil queen but before he could swing his sword, he got a cut on his left cheek. He charged pressing towards the evil queen but again his other cheek got cut. Still, the king didn’t give up and kept swinging his sword. The sword couldn’t touch the evil queen and soon enough the king was on the floor, bleeding, ready to die. His own sword pierced inside his heart and blood was running out from his mouth as well. The evil queen leaned down to the king and smiled.
‘You’ll never get another woman. I'm your only wife and it has to stay like that’, she rocked back on her heels, waving her stick, ‘Now I'm going to kill your daughter and destroy the entire butterfly land.’
She kept on laughing as the king leisurely closed his eyes. His last words were, ‘You’ll die one day. There’ll be justice.’
After the death of the king, she went to her room to get her magic mirror. She wrapped the mirror on a woolen cloth and left the distant land taking all the young and strong villagers with her. By just a touch of her spelled sword, the villagers turned off the humanity and roared the monster out. The old and weak people ended up dead while only few got a chance to flee. The distant land burnt into ashes.
Chapter six
Butterfly land
Back at the Butterfly Land, Snow White had no idea what the wind was carrying. She was happy with her prince and the people of the land. As their king was old, the prince was going to take over the throne and the wise men of the Rock Castle have prepared the royal ceremony before handing over the crown.
Suddenly Snow White woke up in the middle of the night as she saw a nightmare. She was panting and she was sweating as if she was standing on the pouring rain. In her dream she saw a monster attacking her and killed her dear dwarf friends. She was frightened to death and she had to find out her dear friends soon. She voiced the prince and pleaded him to find seven dwarfs and make sure they were safe. Prince asked her to leave in the morning but she insisted to go right now. Prince couldn’t refuse her saying as he vowed to protect her. The tiny house where the dwarfs lived wasn’t that far from the Butterfly Land and soon he gathered ten of his best soldier for the journey. Snow White kissed her prince to return back safe with good news.
Prince rides off to the mountains down to the forest while Snow White sat on the balcony waiting for her prince to return.
The night was peaceful and the full moon was shining up on the sky with the stars twinkling everywhere. Far, far away behind the big mountain, she saw a big smoke but couldn’t decide where the smoke was coming from. She called out a guard and asked another team to go and check behind the mountains. Her heart whispered that it was her home—Distant Land but still she ignored and wished not to be the distant land. Another group of twenty men took off towards the big smoke while the terrible thoughts revolved around Snow White’s mind.
The sun was almost visible from the rock castle with purple painted on the clouds. Snow White felt a relief watching the sky turning purple and orange. Then all of a sudden, the village down the castle started to run screaming. The big thunder like footsteps approached down on the village while the crying and screaming with pain continued. As Snow White glanced closely, she saw the evil queen riding on a black horse was coming towards the castle with thousands of her army on her side.
The general of Rock Castle prepared for the fight and asked his men to fight till death. General, Porcupine, was the best among the soldiers and he had his own well trained soldiers—fifty of ’em.
The war between the good and evil begun.
Hundreds of soldiers and civilians died on the battle and still the fight didn’t stop. General was on the battle field swing his sword, charging to the enemies and killing them. The soldiers on the evil queen side died, but then again after some time, they came back to life. The evil soldiers were indestructible as the evil queen had spell on them.
General Porcupine was getting tired of fighting the same soldier over and over again but still his strength and oath kept him active. Almost half of the soldiers were dead and rest was ready to surrender soon. Then the evil queen waved her hand around as the sword flew like lighting killing general Porcupine instantly. As the soldiers saw their general dead, they all threw their swords down and bowed down to the evil queen.
‘Bring me the king and queen. Dead or alive.’ She ordered.
The soldier marched inside the castle searching door to door for the king and queen.
Before the soldiers entered the castle, king and queen hid Snow White into the dungeon where only they, the prince and the general knew the way. Sure, she was safe inside the dungeon but she had no idea how to get out from there. She refused to hide but queen insisted and told her to stay calm until prince comes back to rescue. King handed her a sword before he shut the secret door and handed her the key making her promise to show the prince. She cried sitting down on the dark dungeon but there was no one to hear her scream. The room felt so cold, as there was no sign of living ever entered. The dungeon was made for those who were sentenced to imprison.
The evil soldiers finally found king and queen in the secret room behind the throne. King and queen both drew their sword to fight. The sword was green which seemed like it was made of a wood but it wasn’t just the sword, it was the sword the king had won in the battle with the witches long before he became the king. The fight begun.
As the king gave a clean scratch to the evil soldier—the soldier turned into dust instantly. Both king and the queen were fighting and suddenly she got stabbed on her stomach. She was down on the floor rigidly and soon she shut her eyes with a smile looking towards the king. King went furious and killed all five evil soldiers and rushed down on his knees holding his queen, sobbing. As he was crying the anger of pain, a sword appeared from inside his chest. Slowly he gazed down to the sword, painted on blood—he fell down on the floor beside his queen. The evil queen was behind him with her evil smile. Then she ordered her soldiers to find Snow White and bring her alive. She wanted to see her first then kill her by herself. She picked up the sword and smiled. She knew it was her grandmother’s sword but she wasn’t sure he was the one who defeated her.
‘I avenged your death grandmother. Now you’re free, your soul can finally be in peace.’
Chapter Seven
The Escape
The sobbing continued. Then the sword from her hand dropped down on the floor and something glow from the inside. She pulled out the sword as the sword glow green all the way to the blunder side. She moved the sword sideways looking for the way and there she saw the stairs leading further down. A narrow way was in front of her which was deep inside. She scanned all around but couldn’t find another way so she took the only way searching for the exit—deep inside the dungeon. She stood on her feet and as she was about to move, she heard a noise.
The noise was coming from down the dungeon. She got scared and screamed asking who was there? But no one replied. Her whole body was shaking and her lips trembling. She moved further slowly and asked again but still no one answered. She pointed the green sword before her and took few steps and stopped as she heard the big bang sound coming from down below.
‘Who’s there?’
The silence appeared and for few seconds there was not a peep.
‘My name is Snow White and I'm the princess of Rock Castle. If you’re friendly then give me a sign.’
‘Princess, is that you?’ a voice said, which echoed from the bottom, ‘We’re your friend—dwarfs.’
Snow white got exited but then she stopped. She had to be sure about everything or else her life won't be spared. That might be a trick to trap her.
‘Give me a proof that only dwarfs and I had when I was little.’
‘You’ve got a scar on your left knee. You got it while climbing an oak tree.’
‘It is you’, Snow White squealed and ran down to meet the dwarfs.
As she reached down, dwarfs welcomed her and gave a hug. They were happy to see Snow White safe and moreover she was happiest of them all. Then soon she found out that one of them was missing, so she asked about the little one. The dwarfs told the whole story about the plans of evil queen and mentioned about the blood moon. Nobody had an idea about the blood moon but they knew it wasn’t good and certainly something terrible was going to happen.
The bang sound from down below was that the dwarfs were trying to dig a hole but the floor was some kind of rock which was impossible to break. Snow White scanned the dungeon hole waving the green sword and there she found a small hole. She peeped inside the hole and found that the hole was way too deep but it was big enough for dwarfs to fit in and find out the exit.
No one really wanted to check the hole out but someone should volunteer so the second dwarf, Tingle, came up front. Snow White handed him the green sword and Tingle went inside the hole. Everyone was crossing their fingers and prayed for him. There were no scratches nor did sound after sometime and nothing happened. Now the fear started to rise up in all of them and again they were on the dark.
‘Where’re you brother’, first dwarf screamed.
‘Silence. Enemy might hear us.’ third dwarf said.
‘We’re going to die in here.’ fourth dwarf said.
‘Or…maybe we could find a way from up there. I think the only way to go out is the way we came in.’ fifth dwarf said.
‘He’ll be back’, Snow White said.
And there was a silence again.
The entire five dwarfs sat down imagining things—sometimes beautiful and sometimes horror one. Snow White was sad but wasn’t frightened, not anymore. She got the most trusted friends and even they were locked up, she was glad that at-least she got company. Then a green light appeared from the hole and everyone abruptly jumped up to see the light. Tingle was back and he was fine, no harm done. He wasn’t frightened either. He said he found the way out but the way out was inside the castle and before going out there, they’d to have a plan to escape. The evil queen’s soldier’s were all around the castle, guarding.
Tingle explained the number of guards on the exit point from the castle’s back—three armed soldiers on the ground, two on the top and one right outside the hole. They can take the one guarding outside the hole but they were not sure about the guards on the back. They were unarmed and the guards were big, like a bull but they had to try it or else they’re going to die inside the dungeon without food and water and the rock below was growing colder and colder.
One by one they went inside the hole and the first one who reached the other end of the hole pulled the guard harshly from behind. The guard’s head hit on the stone and he was down instantly. One by one, they got out and glued on the wall and moved slowly sticking on the wall. They were at the back part of the castle and as Tingle had described, the guards were big like the size of the bull. They were shaking but they had to do something in order to survive. Dwarfs started whispering to each other and they decided that no matter what happens, they’d to save the princess.
The sun was almost up and soon every one of the guards could see them so Tingle didn’t wait for another moment and he ran towards the guard with a stone on his hand. He yelled running towards the guards and threw the stone aiming the head. The guard simply wiped the stone like a fly but Tingle didn’t stop yelling and running towards him. Then suddenly, one guard fell down on the ground and soon the other two went down. Tingle stopped and looked at the guards on the wall, the wall guards were gone. He looked around but didn’t see anyone.
‘You brother, how did I do?’ a voice said from behind Tingle.
Tingle turned on his back quickly and saw the seventh dwarf with a bow and arrow standing like a hunter with black lines painted on his face. Tingle jumped onto him and rest of them screamed in joy. Seventh dwarf showed the way out from the castle and took them to the hiding place far away from the rock castle.
Chapter Eight
Seventh Dwarfs Secret
The hiding place was below the ground and inside there were food, water, lantern, bed and fresh clothes to wear. As everyone sat down at peace, seventh dwarf told his story.
He said, ‘When I kicked that guard, he came after me like an animal hunts for its food and luckily I found a small hiding place just down the river. Right next to the river was the falls and the sound of the water falls made the rest silent and I didn’t move until the guards left from there. When I came back, I saw you all getting caught and I knew for sure that not in the earth you’ll make it to the princess’, he smiled towards Snow White, and continued, ‘Then I went back to our little home and picked up my weapons and there I saw prince riding on horse and he had just left after searching the house. Then I came back to the rock castle, studied every part of the enemy and finally snuck inside after taking two guards on the top wall.’
‘You’re some shooter, brother.’ third dwarf said.
Seventh dwarf smiled, ‘Thanks to our giver. They taught me well.’ He looked at Tingle and said, ‘Don’t you feel that way brother?’
There went a silence among seven and Snow White had no idea what was really going around there. The entire seven dwarfs faced each other, whispered to one another and looked towards her as if she was found guilty. As seventh dwarf was about to burst his mouth, Tingle interrupted and changed the subject. He didn’t want to reveal the truth about them, yet. So they tried to come up with another plan—a better plan.
Finally they all came to a conclusion—to find the prince first and find the people who’re still human and against the evil queen. They shook hands before coming out from the hiding place. Seventh dwarf covered the hiding place with broken tree branches and with some heavy stones; he made sure that no one else going to find their hide out. As they came out the hiding place and hadn’t been far enough, the ground thundered. They went on alert as they knew that the evil queen’s army were searching for them and just for a matter of time, they were going to find them if they didn’t find the hiding place soon.
Seven dwarfs had no fear of death but they had to save Snow White; they separated—three ran east and the rest with the princess ran west.
The night crawled upon them and yet they were still inside the big forest and they were tired of running; hunger and thirst was poking around them. Soon, Snow White threw herself on the green grass—she was tired and hungry, her lips have dried, her whole body was shaking and her eyes were half open. Tingle ordered the first dwarf to find food, fourth to find water and seventh to look out for the enemies.
As Snow White lay down on the ground, just couple of distance from her, she saw an apple; a pure red one. Her thirst and hunger pulled her towards that apple and just in the matter of time without having second thoughts, she took a bite. As Tingle saw her chewing; ready to swallow, he shouted and warned her not to swallow but, it was too later—she swallowed it. Before Tingle reached to pull that apple, she was down on the ground—her eyes open—unconscious. They sat down being frustrated as Tingle cried of not looking after her, as his duty was to make sure Snow White’s safety.
Moments later, seventh dwarf again came up with the same plan as they couldn’t decide before inside the hiding place. Tingle had no choice rather to make that sure so they carried her to their secret place. Before leaving the forest, Tingle left some sign for the others letting know of their plan and the journey they took.
‘Is everyone ready to do this?’ Tingle asked the other dwarfs.
‘Yes’
‘Forgive us for doing this but this is the only way father.’ Tingle said, looking up.
Seven dwarfs met at the exact place where they were supposed to be and held their hands together as Snow White lay in the middle. Everyone murmured some magic spell and bit by bit a small sparkling dot; glowing like the sun appeared at the center—dwarfs kept on murmuring the magic spell. The neighing of horses thundered in the distance as the vibration increased this time. Then the small glowing dot maximized to a big hole; a gateway. The whole area glows as if it was middle of the day.
The magic spell completes and the evil queen’s armies were in sight—hurriedly they’ll jump inside the hole carrying Snow White with care.
Chapter Nine
Paradise among Paradise—Land of the Small
The passage led to a secret land and into another hole to a room—full of herbs, big kettles, chicken with four legs, birds with big eyes and thousand types of flowers with different colors. Dwarfs carefully put Snow White on the cotton sheet and held their hands together, again.
‘You disobeyed my legacy son.’ A deep and dark voice roared inside the room. ‘You brought an outside inside the land.’
‘I'm so sorry father but it had to be done.’ Tingle said, with almost a whisper.
‘Silence’, the voice roared again, ‘You know the oath.’
‘Yes I'm aware of the oath’, his voice shakes.
‘Speak up’
‘I hereby, the second elder, first by command, mother of Eli and father of Sensei take a vow against the odd and the even and to the dwarfs of land of the small, to obey the command and not to bring any outsiders to the land even if I’ve to face death in-front of my own eyes.’
‘You do well remember the oat and yet you disobeyed and betrayed that oath.’ The voice continued to roar. ‘You shall be punished thou you the brilliant among us all.’
‘I'm ready to accept the punishment but father, at least ask me about the outsider.’
‘I care less for the outsiders.’
‘But—‘
‘Enough’ the voice roared and the whole room vibrated like an earthquake.
All the dwarfs bowed down in fear with their hands squeezed together. The vibration continued and all of a sudden it stopped and a dark shadow cast inside the room. Dwarfs closed their eyes tight. As the shadow came closer, the big monster sized shadow diminished to a dwarf—white long beard, skin wrinkled, a long thick brown cloth covered on his body, walked towards the dwarfs. He seemed old and he was the leader and the father of the dwarfs; as they called. He came near to dwarfs but his eyes were fixed on Snow White lying on the cotton sheet.
‘Good heavens….mother of mercy’, old dwarf said, in a frightened voice.
Seven dwarfs abruptly lifted their head and looked at the old dwarf suspiciously. They had no idea what he just said and all the confusions startled on their minds.
Old dwarf sat down next to Snow White and gently rubbed her forehead mumbling some words and there her forehead glows like sunshine. She grunted exhaling air deeply and opened her eyes. She gave a pleasant smile at old dwarf. Old dwarf smiled back.
Snow White lifted her body with her hands and bowed against the old dwarf. The seven dwarfs were still in shock as they knew it wasn’t what they expected and definitely not without a punishment. Tingle thought that before erasing the memory of her after she was healed, old dwarf would insist to sit and watch the punishment given to him but exactly the opposite happened.
‘I didn’t expect to see you this soon, princess.’ the old dwarf said.
‘You know me?’ Snow White asked.
‘Of course my dear, I know your mother and I was there when you were born.’
‘How’, Tingle interrupted.
Old dwarf sighed, ‘I’ll tell you how but before all of that, feed her and show around the land of the small.’
Seven dwarfs bowed down against old dwarf and walked outside the room.
As soon as Snow White laid eyes on the outside, she squealed with excitement. She circled around the green grass, she was enchanted. The Land of the small was very peaceful and filled with wonders—green grass everywhere, mushrooms; size of one dwarf, trees taller than her but not that tall, fruits hanging on every tree branches, flower garden on each side, red bricks on the path, birds with various color like; orange, green, blue, red, yellow, pink and many more smaller in size were circling up in the sky singing songs, small cottage made of green wood’s were in numbers and new harvested crops with buds were shining. It was entire different world there and everyone lived as the one.
A little further as she walked, there were dwarfs doing the training. Some were busy shooting with their arrow, some with the sword, and some without weapons. She wondered why they need to fight if no one else knows about the land. Even though there isn’t a danger of anything, preparation won’t do harm—prepare for the day if trouble comes knocking around. Everything around the land of the small was puny except the tress and the other amazing thing was that, there were other dwarfs, in numbers. Snow White counted lifting her fingers and stopped as another numbers started to show up against her.
Other dwarfs weren’t that attractive as compared to the seven dwarfs but their face revealed the innocence. The long black beard made them less attractive but female and child dwarfs were adorable. The entire dwarfs, hundreds of them glanced up towards her with lots of questions and confusions in their mind but nobody spoke. She waved her hands towards them and the smile wasn’t leaving on her face. She was amazed.
In the distant, not very far, she saw a waterfall from the mountains and a rainbow on the top of it. The birds were there roaming around and the huge strait down below was moaning as the water from the fall touched the stones. The tiny animals were there too—staring at her. She could see a monkey with tail longer than her appearance, a lion with no tail and had one horn at the forehead, deer with eyes bigger than owl’s and a rabbit, bigger than lion—they were in numbers as well. For instant, Snow White was lost inside the beauty of the land and she forgot everything about her world.
A horn bellowed as the entire dwarfs walked towards the sound. Snow White followed them as a baby dwarf grabbed her index finger. A big fire and dozens of bowl filled with varieties of fruits laid down on the grass while six of the dwarfs played the instruments. First dwarf was hitting a stick on a round stone, second dwarf was hitting a thread, third dwarf was splashing on a bowl full of water, fourth dwarf was clicking his tongue, fifth dwarf was playing a beat tapping by his feet and sixth dwarf was mumbling a fluent tone.
