Guys - i heard that there is max of 2 yrs we can be at nepal if we have GC with re enter permit - have any one has experience going back for max months and coming back without any problem? Can you share your experience on applying for re enter permit? Thanks

I heard of maximum 6 month until you have passport. Correct me if i am wrong.

Its 2 yrs max w/ a re-entry permit. You can apply for a reentry permit twice.

With a regular Nepali passport, you need to return back within 6 months to ensure that your waiting period for naturalization doesn't get reset. Stays over 6 months will warrant an explanation from a CBP agent.
