HI, I was filling out TPS application for me and my wife, and had some questions that isn't very clear to me. I would appreciate any help. 1) The very first question in I-765 form: I am applying for:
I am a F1 student and my university supports TA (teaching assistantship) and doesn't allow any outside work (not even for US citizen if they have any TA/RA/GA support). So, EAD is not going to be any help to me, and I only want to file for TPS (no EAD). So, should I not choose any option. For my wife (F2) I understand the choice should be: permission to accept employment. 2) Have you ever applied for employment at USCIS before @ i765 #11.As a TA I obtained a work permit but I am not sure/clear if that involves USCIS. So, should that be yes?? 3) Eligibility category code from "Who may file form i765?" @ i765 #16.I went over the instruction and it kind of confused me. Can't seem to be sure what it should be for F1 vs. F2. Any help is appreciated. Also, I have conflicting views from the people, if we should send any photos. My opinion is "no", but could somebody share their opinion. Thanks,

1) So for you, chose nothing because nothing applies for you, but for your wife chose permission to accept for employment. In your case, you have to chose NO on applying for EAD on Tps form. 2)It is No because for that 20 hours work, you never went through USCIS, and it is given by college. Have you ever received EAD card? If answer is no then you should chose NO. 3)You are applying EAD under TPS not under f1/f2, so the category should be (c)(19). If you are applying for TPS then you have to fill the EAD form no matter what. Either you need EAD or not. And when you fill your EAD form, you have to send 2 pp photos. ---All these information are based on my understanding ---

1. Ya no need to choose or you can choose the permission for employment but youwwill nit be sending ead fee anyway so doesn't matter 2. For TA you got work permit from the college, not from USCIS, you never applied and got EAD from uscis. So that would be no. 3. Eligibility criteria will be (c)(19) Send 2 phtographs of each of you. It's for i765. Thiugh you are not applying for EAD, i765 application is a must for registration of TPS so u might wanna send the photos too.

Thanks @ MimroRaMeroFor part 2: For employment work as as TA, I had received an I-9 card from the university. I think you are right that it may not involve any USCIS process. I will stick with "NO". Part 3: It makes sense that we are applying for EAD under TPS and that category should be right. Regarding the photos I think they should be recent ones. What do you suggest is a good place for a cheap and quick pp photos? Thanks much,

You can go to CVS or Walgreen. They are under $15, and 10 minutes.

Hi All, Thanks a lot for the information you have shared. Just another question: regarding the evidence of continuous stay I don't have any receipts or bills endorsed in the name of my wife (she didn't had SSN and it wasn't useful). I should have bought her an insurance but unfortunately I didn't. However, she has a bank account, so would the bank statement be useful. Any other options I may have? I have heard people saying, that i94/travel history should suffice. I am not sure if I should be trusting that. Thanks,

Bank statement of June1-June 30, 2015, I-94/Travel history should be fine. Please remember-'Too Much of information creates poverty of attention',
