very good, Nepalese dun love this country they just wana join the army for citizenship and benefits after finishing the Mavni.I am the only one who loves this country than Nepal. That means, someone has to be in status for 2 years to join MAVNI.


Little confuse here, suppose someone came here as a student 8 years ago and never left US, but 4 years ago he/she became out of status. Does that first 4 years count as a valid 2 years legal status. It does say "immediately preceding the date of enlistment", but immediately preceding for single absence or 2 years legal status, or both?

Zxcv: Mavni is extended til 2016 with more slots.this year they had 3,000 slots .for 2016 it will be 5000 slots.They posted this info in mavni page couple of months ago.

If u were out of status for last 2 yrs then you wont be eligible for mavni.your first 4 yrs wont count as valid year. It has to be previous 2 yrs from the day you apply for g845 .for eg if u wanna apply today then u have to be in legal status from 2013 september.
