In 2013, there was an arrest of an Indian diplomat in America for visa fraud which became a big news. I remember a thread here in sajha where our Nepali around the world were expressing their views. It was very interesting that some were defending the diplomat even though she broke the law of the land (USA) and were very critical towards the American law.
http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/14/justice/indian-diplomat-indicted/ So a recent news where 2 maid of Nepali origin were brutally raped for a long period of time in New Delhi by a Saudi diplomat. We know that the diplomat will walk free eventually, it is India and there will be no arrest like in America.

I would like to know the perspective of all those who thought the US government went too far. What do you think now? Please serious inputs only, I will delete all unnecessary response.

When people in power are let free when they commit hideous crime what impact will it leave to general public? Isn't this why out country is walking backwards since all the rich and powerful ones can jump the hoops to get their sons out of jails when they kill people while drunk driving. I don't support even if it was a Nepalese diplomat. Anyone who committed crime must be equally provided the blind justice.

That Indian diplomat case in New York is hardly a good comparision for the current case of raped Nepali women. The indian diplomat did not abuse her employee she just lied about some immigration stuff she was paying her minimum wage, but the saudi diplomats were raping multiple times, group rape, beating them up. It just shows how powerful saudi oil money is.
