Fellow Sajha nibasi Mero MRP ready bhaya ra nepal bata dispatch bhai sakyo ( Sept-6,2015) as per the website.Aba Nepal embassy DC lay kati time laucha bhaya tyo passport sent garna . I have included all return envelop too. Has any one gone through the same process. Any input is welcome

Washington Embassy is garbage. I sent my passport to them on beginning of June and it was delivered to KTM only on August. KTM returned back to DC Embassy on beginning of September and those shitty guys still have not posted the passport.

DC Embassy is very very slow. I've been tracking when they ship passports to Nepal and when Dept of Passport back home completes the assignment and sends new passports to DC. Here's my summary: DC Embassy: ships passport to nepal every 30-45 days or so Department of Passport: sends new passports back to DC 8-10 days after receiving the applications While other embassies seem to be sending passports to Nepal more frequently even though their batch sizes are quite small, DC embassy waits until they have about a 1000 passport applications and then sends them to Nepal. Trying to save money (pocket money?) I guess. It's a shame that DC Embassy isn't very responsive and their website also sucks the most, at least among a handful of other Nepalese embassy websites I've compared to.
