6 million Jews were killed by Hitler led genocide during Second
World War. The persecution and genocide were carried out in stages, culminating
in what was termed the Final Solution to the Jewish Question, the agenda to
exterminate Jews in Europe. Initially the German government passed laws to
exclude Jews from civil society, most prominently the Nuremberg Laws of 1935. A
network of concentration camps was established starting in 1933 and ghettos were
established following the outbreak of World War II in 1939. In 1941, as Germany
conquered new territory in eastern Europe, specialized paramilitary units
called Einsatzgruppen were used to murder around two million Jews and
partisans, often in mass shootings. By the end of 1942, victims were being
regularly transported by freight trains to specially built extermination camps
where, if they survived the journey, most were systematically killed in gas
chambers. A network of about 42,500 facilities in Germany and German occupied
territories were used to concentrate, confine and kill Jews and other victims.
This war could not have ended if the allied forces had not
interfered. Allied forces included the
US, Canada, Great Britain and Soviet Russia. Keeping aside the emotions of the victims of
all the countries involved, this war was more on money and power. The United
States itself was in the verge of the Great Depression, wealth mobilization was
a dire need of the time, and so was the case for Russia. Russians and British
were the direct target of the Germans and had there been no winter, the Russian
history would have changed forever.
President Roosevelt had tried to engage the US citizens in nationwide
highways development but still was not enough to boom the economy, the entry to
the war after Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor would alter everything. The trade
of steel to make all the armors, bullets, ships and occupying the major oil
producing sites became the major hidden agenda but it did create a great
workforce in the country. Since then the United States stood as the power
center of the world. There was one more resolution that the allied agreed upon
was the formation of the United Nations.
The United Nations would thereafter said to be checking the
misbehaves of nations among each other and hence uprising the thoughts of human
rights. But in the course of time, the same United Nations has not been able to
perform brighter due to huge corruption worldwide that goes unchecked. The
United Nations in today’s world is behaving more like the Roman Papal era of
the 16th century. If we go back on time Roman Papacy helped other countries
conquer others territories, securing the benefits for its own establishment,
rather than following its sole purpose of its existence.
Nepal indeed has given many of her fine soldiers to maintain
peace and security to the war effected zones. But those wars favored only the
profit of the above allied countries. Their main intensions always were to
secure the resources around the globe. The present petty disputes are the
profit zones for the big countries. One might think what’s there to the rest of
the world if Israel-Palestine collides, North-South Sudan collides, Idi Amin,
Saddam Hussein, Hosni Mubaraq, Gaddafi and many more; (I am not defending their
crimes) but the hidden businesses that lies underneath and again the corruption
that goes unchecked with such wars is what make many vulnerable and insecure. The
allied, however turned out to be atomic powers and then are the powers in the
UN. Their interest is the interest of the UN.
The unhygienic rice provided by UNFP says its all. They are
all just for stunt, profiting their organizations from their worldwide governments
but will in no way touch the life of the ones in real need. They only pretend
that they care and sometimes they send Selena Gomez or David Bekham for another
publicity stunt. The earthquake and the border blockade in Nepal has turned the
lives as hell and people are dying of scarcity. One might wonder why is the
United Nations or even SAARC showing its presence. The answer is simple, if
there is less profit involved, there will be no involvement at all.
Every factories and industries Nepal tried to sustain, the
Indian has hunted them down in the past. Even though Nepal being agricultural
country, almost all of its food supplies comes from overseas via India. The trade
is halted for so many months and thousands of people will die for sure. If its
going to kill the people in such a way, what’s the difference between Hitler’s
gas chambers and Modi’s Nepal chamber. In the past the Indian side of the
politics has helped remove the King and thus involved in micro managing the
government itself. Nepalese leaders were of no help as they were also used in
different times from them.
Now when they say Nepal is free to get supplies from China;
our question should be why were they so much involved in selling Indian Rifles
to the Nepalese Army in the wake of Maoists insurgency, when not even Indian army
liked their own war machines. They have destructed, every possible means of
development along with cutting ties with other friendly nations. Only the ones
who are suffering would know what this economic blockade means. If you try to
have a cup of coffee, there’s no hot water because there is no gas to boil the
water. If you try to go to work 40 miles far, there is no transportation
because there is no petrol. If you try to buy some groceries, they are all
decaying in the border and few of what’s in the market has the price of sky
high. People die in such circumstances, if this severe and dire situation
persist are we going to play a blame game or let the people live.
