1. Only the bicyclists riding mountain bikes need helmets.

2. Everyone prescribe their own medicine and for others including cetamol, niko, digene, antibiotics, you name it.

3. Dogs get kicked all year long except one day when they are prayed to.

4. Male dominated society where women rule in the house.

5. People buy one cigarette at a time. Some even smoke half and save other half for later.

6. People put water in plastic bottles in the sun to heat them during winter.

7. People only wash their underarms and head before going to parties.

Add more if you know of any

1.Three states Iowa, Illinois, and New Hampshire do not need helmets. I have seen nationwide too not everyone wearing helmets.
2.What do you think?people here do not take Advil, BC powders, pepto bismol, imodine etc; those OTC medicines by themselves ?
3.I do not think dogs are kicked out everywhere in Nepal, it is just because of bad management of municipality.
4.Obviously in every house female dominates over men. (Lol)
5. I know people buy only one cigarette at the time but I have not seen any Nepali people smoking only half and saving it for later. There might be only few in exceptional cases but mostly we don't do it . I have seen Khairey doing this a lot by the way .
However In some cases, we have smoked some "cigs" from the thutos when you are jyap or out of cigs in the middle of the night.
6.Water is kept in bottle and warmed in sunlight for purification purpose, it is not bad thing , we are just using the available resource.
7.It might be the habit of washing underarm not of everyone even in Nepal. What you think Americans take a bath every day. Do a research.

(stop criticizing about own country Nepal please, it just depends upon personal behavior, I agree Nepal is underdeveloped country where most people are uneducated and in lack of resources but it doesn't mean that we are like trash in compare to westerners. )
