Hello all, I am a graduate student (First Year) at University of Bridgeport. I am planning to move to NewYork in coming August. How much expenses shall i estimate for room rent and travelling. I am moving along with my friend. Which area would be better to student to live in? The main motive of moving is for part-time jobs. Please suggest me the areas which is cheaper and has easy access to transportation. Thank you

Room rent if you are sharing with your friend keep 500 each. Transportation 116 dollars for month subway pass. Live around Queens because its cheap and you will find all stuff you need nearby. And don't worry about transportation in NYC there is bus and train everywhere. Finding job is not too hard , you can find it from agents. Good luck man.
