I heard lot of rumours that DevOps jobs is killing sys admin jobs because of the cloud technology. Is it true? Any sys admin guys faced slowdown in hiring? I saw lot of guys waiting in the line for job, dunno the reason behind.

sys admin / dev ops jobs are similar , sys admin is a part of dev ops but not the other way around. The reason we see devops more than sys admin is because every company now offers some from of development / hosting infrastructure ...the devops title is merely a name change to sys admin I think.
