Is it even possible to travel to Nepal with hand written unexpired passport anymore? Any suggestion would be great. Thanks

Why? Why o why you waited this long? I'd immediately call Nepal Embassy. Wasn't their an expedited process (for more dough) to get the MRP passport?

Yes very very stupid of me to wait this long. I was just not comfortable with sending my original passport with other immigration crap going on too. Finally got to talk to Nepal Embassy today after trying for days. They said I can get the travel document with a week. I can go to Nepal with this travel document, and apply for the new passport in Nepal. I will try that. Thanks for the reply.
