Hi Sajha Friends,
I am in a unique condition regarding my TPS application. Hope you guys have some idea or experience to help me with. I hope people will be careful doing such mistakes.
Background
------------
My wife filed for tps reregistration on November 1. She got her receipt, and information from biometric that they are able to pull her information and no need to do biometric.
I also did my reregistration on November 22. I took my wifes form and edited with my information via chrome.
I got receipt on December 6 for tps and ead. Information on EAD is good, but TPS receipt has my wifes name and date of birth instead of mine. But, alien number is mine. The very next day I called USCIS regarding mistake in name and dob and put service request. The guy at uscis put on service request, he provided me with confirmation and told that to wait for 30 days. He also said someone from uscis will verify with the form I filled.
Yesterday, I again got biometric letter with my wifes name (with my Alien number ) to go to service center where my wifes stays. Me and my wife stays few hours apart, so I put mailing address as my wifes address, and physical address as where I stay. I recently moved from the apartment where i used to share with some guys to my friends home. So, I made address change request to have both mailing/ physical address as my current address (i.e. my friends home).
I went through the barcode of TPS application, I realized that it is mapped according to the information we put on the form. But chrome doesn't support that, therefore having mine
information on form and my wifes information on barcode. So, people from uscis might have scanned the barcode and put information accordingly. So, I think the information including dob, name, ssn, and I 94 all is that of my wifes instead of mine.
I verified the form that I send and the information I put is all correct.
I hope this won't affect my wifes case since she has different case number.
I am planning to reschedule my biometric with cover letter mentioning my condition and to wait till my case is resolved.
What other steps do you guys suggest me to take?
It will be really helpful, thank you in advance.
