I can help you on trading gold and currencies and make a good profit.
You can make money by both ways- buying and selling.

If you r a beginner, then you can open a free demo account where you will get around $10000 balance on your account. You can trade with this amount any at time you want. But you can't withdraw the amount.

Next is real account, where you will get free $25 on opening the account, and you can trade and make real money from it.

If you r a beginner, i suggest you to open a demo account, try to learn the trading method for at least 3 months, and then open a real account and start trading.

I am an analyst, so i am good on predicting gold and some currencies. If you guys are interested and serious on this, I will be there to guide you to become a successful trader.

I purchased 24 oz from apmex.com. This site is very reliable and lowest price in the market. I purchased 3.5 years ago in $1350 per oz. Since then the price never went up. I already lost almost 4 thousands. I am just waiting for break-even to sell. I just don't want to have gold in my portfolio.

Many people think that, you can make money only by buying. But on trading, you can make money by selling too. In Micky_mouse case, he could have made money by selling the gold at that time. I think he'd focused more on fundamental than technical 3.5 years ago.
On trading, you have to focus more on technical than fundamental analysis.

It is true that you buy low- when you think that a particular stock will go up
n sell - when you think that the stock will go down
But, it's all about the trend and timing to make money in this market.

Hope this will clarify your queries.

Gold Analyst,
What bullshi*********t are you talking. Stop being an Analyst now. Investment in gold is loosing money in US. Even bugler do not want to steal gold, but would rather pickup xbox and laptop.

I agree with neerman. Do not invest in gold in USA. I am a business major myself and taken many finance courses and seeing the historical trends of gold market, it's a bad idea to invest in gold alone. Rather make your portfolio consisting different betas (Ranging from 0.5 to 2) and whose correlations are negative. The standalone risk of gold is extremely high. The standard deviation (which measures standalone risk) of gold is 21.3%. Golds are much riskier than bonds. The gold market is extremely volatile.

Neerman n Ujl, you guys are only talking about investment(long term) in gold. But, trading is different than than investing. As i said earlier, you can make money when gold goes down too.
In trading, it doesnot matter whether you r in USA or Nepal, you are still trading the same gold or XAUUSD. You have to be good at what you do.

@Gold_Analyst: I second you. I trade highly leveraged ETFs (up to 3X). Held my position for a week and scored a 2-bagger gain of $10k today. Would love to hear your thoughts on gold investment strategies.

P.S. I only trade precious metals in non-retirement account with money that I am comfortable losing. I try to cut my losses with a stop-loss order at around 7-10%.

Right now, USD is weaker, so gold is in bull. We have to see if gold cross above 1200, then it is a bull run for a while. Otherwise, it is just an oversold bounce, which will likely go down if USD raises.
But, don't trade thinking that gold will be in bull run. But, condition might change if war or trade war breaks out.
Will be updating more about it if there is more positive comments in this discussion.

Any active traders out there preferably equities not just gold ? I mean active everyday. Ohh I buy low sell high... trading is gambling, none of that bullshit mentality though. If you are technical traders and want to connect please hit me up ! I am not trying to sell anything. I just need somebody that I can talk to every day about the market, share ideas and thoughts and make friends. My style of trading is I am a trend trader. I follow clearly defined trend based on daily chart. I don't swing stocks.

During Trumps presidency, the price of gold can go anywhere. He wants to make America great again. Does that mean he wants to devalue $$ or make it even stronger? He been f*%king with China regarding currency manipulation. If he wants to balance trade deficit, he must devalue US dollar. These days everybody is devaluing their currency. Be cautious guys!! Good Luck.
