I need some suggestion regarding TPS re-registration. I am currently on H1B visa and want to renew my TPS. I see that there is a late re-registration for TPS and just wondering if anyone out there can help or have been through the same issue. I want to change my job but current H1 transfer has been very difficult. I was approved for TPS until December 2016 but I didn't re-register within the 60 day window. Anyone has any idea on late re registration of TPS??

Same issue. But I have OPT and had question about TPS late re-registration. I filed in January 10 with enough documents and a letter explaining my reason of not re-registering in October 2016 because I had OPT. I am waiting for a reply from USCIS. Will find out what happens.

Hi, i got an Request for evidence letter. Same case just I had opt. Lets see what happens. Considering that we dont even know if tps will ne renewed

@pia sharma: How long did it take for you to receive the letter asking for evidence? TPS may be renewed. I hope it does.

It took around 4 months. I just got my EAD card, since I submitted the ROE really quickly.

I am in the same situation as you! Did not apply for re-registration as my H1b was approved. So now sending the application for late re-registration. So did you apply yet? If yes, any response? How long did it take? Would appreciate your response.

@Pia: Thanks for the feedback. One more thing, I filed my application about 3 weeks ago but still have not received even the receipt notice! Anyone remembers how long it took to receive the receipt notice?

Dang it! My application got rejected saying wrong filing me. I sent a money order for $495 as one for EAD and Biometric. Anyone tell me if I have to pay ($85, $410) separately or whatever is the correct amount and way of making the payment so I can resend the application asap. i appreciate the help!

Hey Nepal10. I sent a single personal check of $545.00. Money order works too but no need to make it separate. But please make sure you are sending correct amount.

I verified total amount to send is $545.

$50(I-821 Fee), $85(Biometric Services) and $410(I-765 Fee).

What was your Case status after fingerprint?
Mine still says Fingerprint Fee Was Received for i-821 and Case is Pending at a Local Office (i-765).

My fingerprint was about 2 months ago.
