Input from guys who trade stocks. Any hot stocks to buy now? Thinking to invest in GE. What you guys think? Trying to invest for a year or so (short term).

Recently invested some in SRNE and AMD. They are bullish right now in my portfolio.

Why do you hate money ?

I am following GE for couple of months and think they hit the bottom with last Q earnings. Still in dilemma. In your opinion, what are the reasons you think it is bad idea to invest in GE?

they have been having abysmal performance for years now.. what makes you think they would be able to fix their problems ? Since you are investing for a year... it's not enough time for a good turnout..
if your investment time frame is less than a year..i would stay away from stocks.. but then again don't listen to me.. do you own due diligence..

i think First Solar (FSLR) will be a good buy. California just made a requirement for new homes to have solar panel and other states may be following the suit down the line.

Micron Technology (MU) is pretty bullish as well.
