I have my extended family, planning to travel to USA from Nepal, with Turkish Airlines this July. I have heard a lot of bad reviews about the airline in past years. If you have taken any flight of Turkish Airline recently and wish to share your experiences, I would be extremely grateful.
Thank you in advance.

I have two Airlines on the list to not take: China Eastern and Turkish Airlines. The headache I had to go through wasn't worth the cheap price.

Plots and drogba,
Thank you so much for responding. I have heard it like 4-5 yrs ago. So thought “well they might have improved NOW”
The tickets are not confirmed yet so I am looking for options. I have bad experience with Etihad last time I traveled as they gave me a lot of hassel regarding my hand carries. Anyhoo, my first choice is Qatar even if it is expensive.

I have flown Turkish 8 times in past 2 years and i had nothing but great experience. I used to take Qatar, Etihad and Emirates earlier but took a risk once due to Turkish's short transit time in Istanbul, i tried them and been their passenger ever since. It used to be 4 hours transit from US to Nepal and 1 hour when returning back. Also their arrival time in Nepal was 06:35 am which was helpful for me to take domestic flight at 9:00 am.
My experience with them:
-Flight was never delayed.
-Flight attendants were kind and helpful.
-in-flight entertainment options was good.
-Plenty of meal and seat options.

few months back, i brought my friend's parents with me to US on Turkish. They too had a great flight experience.
