I am a great admirer of film and film making. Photography is my hobby but slowly I am shifting my attention to film making too. With the technology becoming more cheaper and easily accessible, film making has never been easier. This video is my very first approach on creating cinematic video. I know I have a long way to go but I have to start somewhere. Hope you guys like my effort. Comments are appreciated. Thank you. https://youtu.be/_CNXFLptTUo

Nice video however I have few CC for you. The video is bit dark for my taste and there is lot of reflection from water, so use a CPL filter. By the way, which camera/lens did you use?

You have done a wonderful job creating this video. Couple of comments: - As sajhamitra mentioned above, I also find video little dark. Could you increase little brightness to the video and also sharpness? Colors and brightness affects our moods! Marketing people use special colors in store to attract more customers! - I think you have justified the choice of music in this video. Good combination. As sound can immediately change our emotions, good combination of sound and video is necessary. Good job on this. - Creating a theme for your video might attract more viewers on YouTube. For example, naming this video as "Nature, Mamma, and a Baby." When people search putting any of these words, your video will also pop up.

Thank you sajhamitra for the comments. Like you said video is definitely little dark. I used variable ND filter to control the exposure. I was little concerned about blowing out the highlights and thus ended up with the darker footages. Also I didn't realized about the reflection on the water until I saw your comment. This was really helpful. I will pay more attention on the reflection next time. I used Sony A6500 and Sony 18-105mm G OSS along with variable ND filter for the video. Also please check out my new video on another post.

Thank you ujl for the comments. Since this is my first approach on creating cinematic video, I really need to step up my game on color correction and exposure. I was having hard time with my exposure settings but I'm working on getting better next time. I do realize that I could have done better with the sharpness on the footage but again I was using Final Cut Pro for the first time for editing and I still need to understand proper settings for exporting the final work. You are absolutely correct about creating a theme to attract more viewers on you tube. I will definitely keep that in mind. Also please check out my new video on separate post. Thank you.
