Folks,

If I can get some advise on the immigration, I would really appreciate. I was in H1B for 6 years and my wife in H4. Also have the TPS. H1B expired in 2017 September but using the TPS(EAD) at the moment. I also applied this year for F2 as my wife is going to school and finishing up her school next May so applied to change her's to F1 this summer. Now my company is working on applying for my GC. How should I move forward? I assume F2 process takes until Dec/Jan. I do have TPS(EAD) until next May but I was planning to change the status so that I could legally stay until my wife would be eligible for OPT after she gets F1. I don't know if I should continue using TPS EAD by the Jan/Dec of next year if F2 gets approved. The reason I don't know if the company starts now for GC process if I would be OK to work legally after TPS(EAD) expires next June, assuming GC gets applied. Any advice again would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
