Namaste fellow Sajha peeps !

**** qq for folks who might have gotten an update or got their cases approved recently please chime in **** How long is the Est. processing timeline for i-485 these days ? USCIS received my case on June 2018 ( TSC), and still no update. How long usually does it take to get the interview date, and then how long does it take to get the card after that ... assuming things go smooth?

thanks in advance!

Jay Nepal :) !!

My case was transferred to NBC about 6 months after filing. Took another 3 months to get to my local USCIS office and another 3 month for interview. Hope this helps.

It took me around 11 months from the date of application. You must be stressed but it's coming. Good luck.

Mr P: We (me and my wife) filed on Feb 7. Needed EAD, asked congressman and they asked uscis to expediate my case and got ead on april 30. We didn't ask to expedite my wife's ead and it is still pending. if congressman doesn't help, worth trying with a senator.

I applied on Nov 20 2017 , got interview/approval on Oct 24 2018. So it took more or less, 11 months. It's highly random though, I saw people getting interviews within 6 months of application and some way longer than that. I was starting to panic, but it eventually came after around 11 months for me. I wish you good luck as it seems luck is a huge factor.

Would like to hear about experiences in recent cases for TSC as well !!! The timelines are really not consistent. it does say 10.5 - 25 months but then again .. that usually isn't accurate :(.

Also, does anyone know if an applicant can actually create outside normal processing SRs? They didn't provide me with any info for my i140 case but wasn't sure if it was the same with i485s as well, or if your attorney would actually need to open one on your behalf ( which they won't.. unless it's actually more than 25 months, #FML). The waiting period .. arrghhh ~

@nepalisathi1,

I had my interview recently. And, got the card in the mail after a week.

It took 5 months for USCIS to schedule it after the status said "Ready to schedule"
