Passed House with 237-198. Next Up: Senate! Hopefully Chuck U Schumer will trick Trump to make a deal and order his butler McConnell to pass this bill in some amended version.

There are 12 democratic and 22 republican senate seats open for 2020 election. Imagine Democrats winning the senate and Presidency. Dream and Promise Act would no longer be a wild goose chase and Guess what? 2020 isn't very far. I pray, senate wouldn't vote on it and keep amending until 2020.

daveraaz, Same type of shit I have thought in 2016, (thought शि लुड विन) would move to better pay areas; as TPS would be extended इन्फाईनाइट एन्ड स्टार्ट न्यु पर्म, अदर गाइ वन, सो (स्के्रड टु मुभ), स्ट्क एट रिलेटिभलि लो पेइङ जब, एज पर्म वाज जस स्टार्टेड, स्टिल वेटिङ फर इन्टरभिउ।

That's why...'HOPE' is a strong word. Keep HOPING, and also remember...Everything happens for a good reason..jo hoota hai acche k leeye hota hai..j huncha ramrai kai lagi nai huncha...I was also shattered, upset and hopeless when Hillary lost in 2016 and this administration terminated TPS. See where we are at now??....discussion on a Path to citizenship!...House passed the bill!...I'm pretty much positive they will resolve this unanimously because this is an issue that needs immediate concern or else this will be a massive political mess with so many litigation on the court.

This place is built on “hope”, they sell it, we buy into it and end up being a pawn in their dirty political play. They say there is a light at the end of tunnel, but sometimes it takes a lifetime to get through...hope, sometimes will drive you crazy... Don’t hope for the light , become the light. Having said that, I hope this beautiful poem will inspire you, like it inspires me. “It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, Our presence automatically liberates others.” —Marianne Williamson

Senate version of this bills only allows TPS holder up to 2010 are permitted to path to citizenship.
Democrats need bunch of Republicans on their side at the Senate to pass this bill, so Nepalese TPS holder likely to be chopped when they compromise the bill.
Anyway, Good luck!!!

@ Tea_talk Hey smarty here I've wasted my 5 minutes for you. 1. This country was built on HOPE is Clinton's line, this country in fact was not built on HOPE. 2. Sounds like you a hopeless person? Don't you hope? Don't you hope for better future? for better health? for better world? better career? better wife? better children? their future? Or you have already become a light?( just a lil sarcasm!)..bujcha ki bujdaina? 3. BTW, that poem apparently by a christian author, doesn't relate with the situation. 2. So?? What do you mean? Be Hopeless?? Or create our Green cards ourselves? 3. That poem doesn't say anything about HOPE or 'BECOMING LIGHT' rather it tells about overcoming fear and pursuing into the endless possibilities one can accomplish. 4. Read that poem again and try to understand the essence, smart ass! 5. If you don't know what you are talking about, better shut up, pretending to look like a sharp tool, which you are not, will make you look ridiculous.

What's up deveraaz? You wasted more than five minutes by getting personal. This country was built on hope, which is a fact, not just Clinton, many politicians have said it ,,so, i guess you only know Clintons. If you had taken any history class, you would know better, and how this country was built exactly on "Hope".. Someone with hindi movie gangstar name talking about originals??? Yes i read the poem , it's a good poem. Clearly you can't think more than one way, and i don't expect from you either. You can make apple juice, marmalade, pie and more out of an apple... I don't need to pretend anything, i know exactly what i am talking about, i know the root of that poem and why it was written, i will let you do your homework on this.
And if you have trouble understanding it, you can take it to wiser person to translate it for you kind sir. I don't get personal, calling names like smart ass. Clearly shows who you are and your upbringing .. "When they go low, we go high" and for your kind info that's not my line either...You can take it the way it suits you...
Peace and Love
