I am thinking of going to Kathmandu with a few days of stop over in Delhi. I saw a cheap flight to Delhi via Shanghai with China Eastern Airlines. But I am being told by travel agent that I, as a Nepali citizen, will not be permitted to start and end my journey in Delhi with this route. Has anyone taken this journey with China Eastern? If so, can you please share your experience.

With the services of China Southern and China Eastern, traveling to and from Nepal has been cheaper and shorter. But I am always baffled by some odd rules told by travel agents every time I use these routes. Last time also I was told that I need a visa although I was transiting through Guangzhou while the flight had a stop over in Wuhan for an hour. I would appreciate it if anyone can clarify what it is really. Thanks.
