Adhikar mentioned that tps extension notice will be out in federal register soon. But nothing on redesignation.
should we give up on hope for redesignation at this point completely? :( Anyone has any insider info on likelihood of redesignation still happening?

It's not like DHS is gonna say, "we have rejected your proposal for redesignation", they will simply ignore it. They will publish a message only if they are positive. So if redesignation doesn't come with extension, I think we are done.

Confirms new Self-extension of TPS because Ramos versus Nielsen case remains open.
This benefit would be for 15 months and would begin when it became official in the Federal Register; it will expire in December 2022.
Please NOTE, it is NOT a new designation or extension.
