In a recent town hall with Fox News' Sean Hannity, Trump was asked to promise that he would never "abuse power as retribution against anybody" if he wins the next election, amid media concerns about the consequences of the frontrunner in the 2024 GOP primary becoming president again. Trump replied: "Except for day one," adding: "I want to close the border and I want to drill, drill, drill," he added in reference to his vow to expand oil drilling in the U.S. President Joe Biden, Trump's presumptive opponent in the 2024 election, has used Trump's remarks to suggest the Republican is a danger to democracy and should not be allowed back in the White House. Trump also repeated the claim that he wants to be dictator for "one day" if he reenters the White House at speech at the New York Young Republican Club on Saturday, December 10.

I liked it and agreed, but very curious why all the smartest people doing in Sajha. It is psychological as well political thing, if rightist or leftist goes too far , the other side reacts equally or more. Whom to blame ? My 2 cents thought,

A new survey found that a majority of Republicans say it is fine for former President Trump to be a dictator for the day if he wins the presidential election. The survey from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and YouGov found that 74 percent of Republican voters said it would be a good idea if Trump follows through on his remarks in which he said he would be a dictator only on the first day of his second term. Twenty-six percent of Republicans say it would be a bad thing.
