Why do democrats want kids under 18 to be able to change their gender?

Let's try to look at this from a different perspective:

We must agree that almost all parents would have the best interest of their child on their minds. Obviously, we can't say the same about the government or the politicians who make these rules. As you can see, most politicians these days are total nuts and lunatics.

Each kid is different, and trying to fit one rule to all isn't the best for the kid. No parent, no matter their political affiliations, will try to change the gender of their child for purely political reasons. Some trans kids already show an affinity toward a certain gender identity, and not being able to associate or assimilate can physiologically scar them for life.

Now, the question for you: Would you trust your parents to make the best decision on your behalf or the political hacks who would do anything to remain in power and force their agendas on you? The choice can't be clearer.

Also, gender transition surgery is extremely rare (about 12,000 a year across all age groups), which is 0.0035 percent of the staggering 335,000,000 US population. The whole thing is blown out of proportion for political reasons. In fact, deaths due to smoking in the US are 480,000 per year, which is more than 40 times the number of gender-affirming/transition surgeries. Shouldn't we focus on saving all those lives rather than interfering with peoples personal lives. I suggest we start focusing on real issues.

Galactus, I do not agree with this whole Parents know better thing. Then why would you need legal age to marry if Parents knows better than politicians. We have all decided on what is a legal age for a person to be considered as an adult, i.e. 18 years. A person should be 18 years and make their reproductive/sexual decision. Before they become adults, nobody, including parents, should be allowed to make that decision.

If you agree with Parents marrying a child when they turn 10, then I have nothing to say. In the case of child marriage, a child has option to divorce, but changing gender is irreversible. For me, it is even worse. Let the person decide when he/she is considered adult. No offense.

I try to stay away from controversial conversations but I am chiming in here. I used to think the same, why transitional procedure while they are still young, but seeing someone going through the pain and suffering makes me think now. There is a kid (not Nepali) I know from very conservative family started identifying they/them. Obviously parents pushed back but started taking that kid to therapy and counseling. That kid is very suicidal and suffering a lot. Now, parents are thinking, should we loose our kid or go through transitional procedure. Haven’t gone through the procedure yet but supporting they/them with everything towards the procedure. I think, surgical procedure is the last option after they run out of all other means.

One thing that would be nice in sajha would be the ability to block certain people from commenting in your thread. There are some people whose sole intention is to derail your thread with same useless shit all the time, spreading the deep hate that runs in their blood in their sad life. The establishment flourishes by creating differences among the citizens. The goal is to keep the people fighting so that they can continue to do whatever they want for their profit.

The biggest difference they promote is race ie black and white which they promote constantly. Then they promote the difference between democrats and republicans. As someone said both dems and reps are controlled by the same establishment. The general population is given an illusion of choice while in reality it is just another tool to divide us. They promote issues such as gender equality, abortion, immigration which inherently divides people as everyone has different upbringing and different perspectives.

For example in a classroom, all students are jolly and enjoying their lives. Lets say the teacher comes in and says lets discuss abortion, racism, etc. and all of a sudden the peaceful happy students are all protesting and screaming about what they think is right. Thus there is division. If this is something that is brought up in the classroom every day then there is chaos everyday and the teacher can stand aside and do their own personal things while the students are agitated and ready to verbally and physically assault others.

This is exactly what happens in a bigger scale in media which constantly promotes these differences to the society at large. The media is owned by the establishment friendly corporations who donate to politicians to uphold their profitable system in place. Media gets more profit by spreading the differences by preying upon the human psyche of fear, anger, digust and ego.

The more the differences the more money government can allot to friendly organizations and be able to skim off on exaggerated fees and dealing.

So coming to gender transition surgery, it is nothing more than a gimmick to add to their arsenal on how to control the citizens with divisive strategy. On top of that their insurance and medical industries gain millions of dollars at every surgery and maintenance for each of these surgeries.

They use media to bombard and confuse the people and now that they found children to be the easiest target they are even changing the laws to allow underage kids to make a decision about getting gender transition surgery. This is outrageous but the propaganda machine makes it seem normal. The propaganda machines invests trillions of dollars in research to figure out how to brainwash us and they do it very well.

So when a kid cannot smoke till they are 21 because the government (from the past that was actually concerned for their citizens) was so concerned about their health now the corrupt government is allowing kids under 18 to make irreversible changes to their bodies defying the natural sex that was given to them. So kids are too young to vote, drink, drive but they can get a live changing surgery that could leave them handicapped for the rest of their lives?

Even when you get a simple eye surgery it could leave you blind. When you get a sex change surgery you are essentially getting neutered and you are basically getting rid of your natural sexual organ. You cannot experience sexual pleasure the same way ever again. That is a pretty bad punishment in my book. Furthermore there may be complications.

The worst part is many of the people have regretted their decision in the long run.

There is an ongoing propaganda that is even propagated into schools to confuse the kids who are going through changing emotions who think maybe getting a sex change will help them. Thus they are trying to market their product and kids who are loved by their parents are ready to fight with their parents or go against their warnings to get that surgery. It is a nightmare for the loving parents.
