Sorry to start this new conversation as thesedays any conversation is drowned by useless noise not related to the topic. I found your response very thoughtful and I like your style of responding. It resonates with my own thought processes. That's why I created this thread to chronical our conversation.

Ehho2 said:
"I took my kids to swimming yesterday. An older gentleman in his late 60s and an younger parent were chatting about migrant issues in Nyc. I happened to sit next to them since there was a seat available and to that they looked at me and we had an ajeard eye contact, and stopped talking about it. I have a feeling we are up for things like this a lot for another decade now. The micro aggressions and sublte micro discriminations do add up for the victims."

I said:
"Ehho you have serious victim mentality. Being American is not just about paper. Look at Vivek Ramaswami. He is as indian as can be. Look at Nikki Haley. They are indian but running for the President of United states.

If you have the confidence of being an American then you are an American. Otherwise you are an immigrant. It all depends on your attitude. You can be a confident immigrant who fit in the america who can talk about illegal immigration without feeling victimized. Or you can be a common victim mentality immigrant who is in the US for the sole reason of taking advantage of how much money you can make by hook or crook and your whole life is defined with that fact alone."

You said:
"Independent, i agree with what you just said above and appreciate that too for the most part. However here is the serious problem with you and people like you; being racist and blaming the other party for the victim mentality.
How quick and convenient it was for you to shift the whole blame on me and at the same time label me weak and fragile , all that too while working on your agenda of showing Vivek or any republican the ideal person. What a fine art of bsing and shifting the blame on the victim, wow.
All i was doing there was simply existing and thats all. But i guess it's too much for people like you and the people of your choice. You would rather have and my likes in gas chamber and make this world vanilla?
Im a legal citizen and would've have stood up for my rights handled them properly if that was needed. Keep your assumptions to yourself. See Independent, people like you think you have fully assimilated cuz you have picked up the accent and knowledge about pop cultute and think your skin has turned lighter until one day god forbids some racist mofo spits at your parents or calls you sandnword. Then u will have no choice but to have a rude awakening that all this time u were were still a foreigner in their eyes.
I have friends who are 4th or 5th generation Asians and even then get asked where are you from as if they came from somewhere. I very well know the struggle of kids like you , growing up in american school systems where whites and black kids are celebrated and you were considered some curry kid and immirgrant, thou u were born here. Funny how the law of attraction works, you probalby hated the experience so much but the constant thinking of it made u one of them. It's funny and sad at thebsame time. I am so sorry for your loss."

Please do not take my response in a personal level. Most of the time, my opinions are based on group mentality and group behavior. I am sorry to have to mischaracterized you personally in any way, shape or form.

It is true that xenophobia exists in different intensities in different places. I think I still stand with my statement about being confident. If you stand resolute and resilient and know what you stand for, I don't think someone is going to try to invade your space and victimize you because you are asian.

Your response actually made me think about Vivek Ramaswami and Nikki Haley more. The fact that they were both candidates from the republican party makes you wonder how come the Democratic party does not have anyone like that? Can it be due to the fact that most democratic party stakeholders have been controlling the narrative and money flow for such a long time that they don't want to embrace people outside of their club? They claim to be for the immigrants but we barely see anyone they would choose for the president role.

The republican party has been undermined for a very long time even though they are also controlled by the same puppet masters. They do have their own identity and it seems like they are more open to provide opportunity to people who deserve it than to only select people in their club. Like for example Trump was also an outsider, and even now lot of people do consider him an outsider but he was able to get into politics through the republican party. So it makes one wonder if the Republican party is more liberal than the democrats.

The democrats on the other hand they allow millions across the border because they know they will get their votes. The blind support seen in sajha from the immigrants for the democrat party stands as a testament of their success. The left lets immigrants infilterate republican states with the knowledge that they will vote for them. At this rate, pretty soon, the US will become a one party system and that is very dangerous and precarious state for a country like US which influences the whole world.

Thesedays, the democrats are printing money like crazy to give out starting from covid times and then now to israel and ukraine. They are printing so much money that without a doubt the economy is showing signs of damage to the dollar. These top people will buy assets so no matter what happens to the dollar in future they will be all set but common people like us will be in the streets.

I appreciate you taking time out of your life and creating a long response for me. I personally have no time after job and kids and life in overall to be so seruous on message board messages.so i really admire yiu commitment to change me, althougt i dont agree with you.
I am sorry but i might read it in several phases solely because of lack of time .Having said that it goes without saying that am not going to have any time to argue on this matter, so please dont expect a lot of responses from me.
So if you want to consider yourself a winner, knock yourself out.
Just remember the two puppets you keep mentoning as role minority models. One changed their name to sound more like white Christian american and the other used that as an ammo to make her look bad. The other was pumped up and finally side lined because he sure is thought provoking and intersting guy but at the end of the day not a white Male American to be a president of that group. He sure was entertaining tho, cuz minority making fun of minority is always fun forbthem ,but playing is one thing and real thing is another. Sad thing is all these measures are some attempt to fit in and that's that.
Have a great monday.

Appreciate your response. I am not writing in order to win. Just to share opinion and I am of the notion that everyone is right in their own way. And I respect everyone's opinion. So if you are in the habit of interpreting these things as wins and loses, then you have already won without a doubt! You are responding in a coordial manner and that is the one thing I respect the most. Unlike other posters who start to bash Trump and call me nazi lover etc which simply shows that they have closed their minds and do not want to have a discussion. So thank you for setting yourself apart.

You are right about the two people i mentioned. I did not mention them as role models but simply as south asians who have made it all the way to the presidential race in the United States of America, the land of the free. My point being that not all asians have to feel discriminated against.
