Flying back to USA from Nepal with Turkish airlines via Istanbul.
Do US citizen and Nepali citizen require transit visa(transit in Istanbul less than 24 hrs) for connecting flight to USA from Nepal?

Looks like if you are not leaving the airport transit area, you don't need a visa https://www.mfa.gov.tr/frequently-asked-questions.en.mfa

@sajalshakya Thank you. I went to VFS office and they confirmed no transit visa is required for less than 24 hours transit if you are not leaving the transit area.
