Is there any Nepali who is in DC area that wants to start a swim team? I mean there are other teams but not for swimming. What are your thoughts on this?

Not a bad idea. I'm not a professional but I do swim. What is up, anyway?

90% of Nepali people can't swim.

Wait, they can't spell 'swim'.

We are good at running, starting a marathon/relay team might be better.

HAHAHA... really I do not need anybody's company to swim I need a pool with fresh water. I repleid to know your intention. I used to swim a lot across the bagmati. Then I started swimming in the Rangashala pool. Then I got a chance to be taught by a professional when I went to Russia .. it was a whole different experience, although basic principles had not changed, the details were different. When I moved to the USA, I swam a while. Still I do not consider as good as a professional.

It is ok to assume Nepalese basically do not swim, but there are a lot out there in the valley. One difference is lack of understanding the details.
