Can we compile a list of all the Nepalese who have received their Ph.D degrees from various US institutions after 1990?

That could be little bit hard. The UMI compiles all such thesis, masters and phds. But I don't think they document the theses with the authors' native country. Therefore, you may not be able to compile the complete list.

HOwever, in my preliminary search, Kiran Lall Shrestha of AVM seems to have to shortest thesis of 62 pages. There could be even shorter ones. If you guys know, post it here.

Dynamical chiral symmetry breaking and instability in nonplanar quenched quantum electrodynamics: A computational study

PURDUE UNIVERSITY, 2000, 62 pages

ISOLATION OF COMPLEMENT FIXING ANTIGENS OF ADENOVIRUS-12 INDUCED TUMORS

Thanks DarshanKaka,
Till now more than a 1000 Nepalese must have gotten Ph.D from the US. Last day I found (GOOGLE) that two Nepalese, Srijana Dhakwa and Sona Shrestha ,had received Ph.D from UC Santacruz in International Economics in 1998 and 1999 respectively. While the former is affiliated with Carnegie Institute and board of director in various orgs. The latter has had published a lot of papers and also edited a book and is working at ADB. So if we have list of such people, we can contact them. For instance, if someone wants to go to UC Santacruz and wants to major in Int. Economics, then they can contact these two accomplished ladies.
