I purchased SDI Card from SDICARD.com I spent two days to
make a call. I bought two cards @ 2 dollars each. In website
it showed 16minute for KTM and when called it said 10 minute.
I talked a guy in Chat section, he told the numbers shown in
website are true. He blamed me for not using the card correctly,
I told him that in first trial, it told 10minute. Then, the guy in
chat did not answer, he just neglected my questions, that clearly
showed he knows the trend. Next day, I called a guy over telephone
after struggle, he gave another set of new cards and they either
did not pick my phone (checked the number or their line was too
busy). The new card also did not work, the way the guy told.
I finally caught him over phone, and he told me that he will try
another number. He asked the phone number in nepal I was trying
for. He sent me third set of card numbers. It also did not work
as he promised and it was little less than 2 dollars i.e. 1.89 dollar
valued and rest money to be credited in next purchage. ...
Since it did not work, their telephone did not like my phone number
I called SDIcard new york head office. Finally, I found the name
of the guy in charge of phone cards and they gave me his hotline
phone number. I caught him and told him that I am struggling to
use his card. He promised to help me and fix the problem. He asked
for some time and his guy called me and gave a 4.59dollar card
and promised it should work for 58minutes to ktm. After spending
more than 24 hours, I got 4.59dollar valued "Budget" card. I
called Nepal, first time the line was disconnected after 10 minute talk
and second time it worked for 35 minutes, thus totaling 45 minutes.
It was still less than what they promised. So, you have to use a factor
and have strenght to muscle with them, provided you have time.
"Time" is important to those who work in hourly basis and these card
companies know it, so they try to show bigger number while you buy,
and blame on you when you complain that the number is not accoring
to advertisement. ... Only way you can do get fair minute is to threaten
them to dipute with credit card company. You need to keep the website
's ad page that showed the number of minutes and what happens over
telephone discussions while your dispute with the telephone talks.
Its better to have text chat so that you can produce it as proof. Like
time is money for you, it will also be waste of time for them to answer
the credit card company's questions on behalf of your disput. Do not
buy using DEBIT card, debit card does not have that strenght against
fraud as credit has. Debit card is a priviledge to you, credit card
company get nothing from you, so they don't include in disput policies
.... (I am not sure, but this is waht a friend who was in trouble told
to me). Dispute it, whenever the number of minutes are practically
less than that you assumed after applying some cunning factors
in this capitalist world, where everyone is trying to cheat you and
money is considered everything.
Well, I did threatened these guys about disputing and in fact I
disputed it with my American Express card, and their response
was very good, and it costs nothing for you to dispute against
those cunning guys who advertise something else and offer
something that is quite below expectations. It will also train
you how to dispute, show your anger and make requests
and .... ask for justice. Learn it. As long as you are not
deliberately trying to cheat the other guy, and your disputes
are genuine, you don't have to worry here. If you are not
trying to make a fraud dispute, but making a real genuine
dispute, you will lose only time and effort at the most. Your
dispute might benefit others incluidng yourself in next round
of shopping.
