Shree dude let me drop something in this technical thread. To unlock the phone, just call the phone people ( if your phone is bought from phone company). They will email you the no and instruction through an email. Problem solved!

Nay buddy, they won't. They ask u to pay the "Breach of Contract" levies and break the contract before they give one the unlocking code. And with this model 3220 b, they say, it is a riskier business. thx for response though keep rolling...

Shree5 jee, I also have more or less a similar problem. I forgot phone lock code of my sony ericsson P900 so can't reset it anymore. Would be grateful if somebody in sajha could suggest me to regain it. I have a software to unlock Nokia phones but havent tried it yet. Will be happy to send you the software if you think its helps you. Thanx

If you are with t-mobile in the US...and have had your phone service for 90 days or more you can get the unlock code from them... As far as I know Cingular refuses to provide the unlock code...

This wouldnt help to solve the problem but just for a curiocity "why would you lock your phone". Just to trick yourself! I am assuming you carry you cell phone with you everywhere you go. If you dont want other to user your phone, just say NO coz the phone is with you. I didnt wanted to be a d**K but i always wander why people lock there cell phone

I unlocked my Nokia 3120b last week through unlock123.com. They charge $4.95 and generate the unlock code instantly.

I would suggest u do a search before paying to unlock your phone. I have a few friends who found it on the net for free but other had to pay. I called T-mobile to unlock mine and they didn't give me any problems. I think Cingular too does it but u have to tell them you are traveling to Europe or somewhere for two to three weeks and wanted to use your phone with the european sim card coz it will cost less. Depending on your luck they might agree. nepalithito76 please tell me u r kidding. Unlocking u're phone isn't the users locking their phones so that other can't use it, it the service provider locking the phone so that u can't use your phone with other wireless service providers sim cards.
