What's the purpose of Gyanendra's African country visit? Does he want to see the current situation of some African countries which will be the exactly same of our country after 10 years if the situation remains same.

Not at the taxpayers expense though - even many royalists are now questioning the visit.

I was reading news that he will be meeting RNA personnels working in peace mission in different countries. But I doubt that the purpose is to visit them. He would love to see dictators (current and past) in these countries and learn how he can rule for long amidst chaos.

As u_day suggests, I have been hearing that the king plans to visit Masai Mara National Park, Kenya and Kruger National Park, South Africa. I heard he plans game tour in these national parks. I know it sounds bit weird given that the king been potraying himself as a nature lover. It should come as a free package during his tour. Bonus package I would say. :o) I have confirmed news the Dr. Tirtha Man Maskey, Deputy General of Department of National Park and Wildlife Conservation is also accompaning the king. One the officers from DNPWC, however, told me that DG didn't have any appointment through Ministry of Forestry under which DNPWC functions. I assume some personalities from King Mahendra Trust for Nature Conservation should be accompanies the delegates as well. Anyone has latest in it??? Sym

I am not sure if king plans to visit Kenya. But Masai Mara National Park (rather Reserve) shares its border between Kenya and Tanzania. I think king plans to visit Tanzania though. Sym
