I'd one friend who said he'd studied weird laws of Nepal. He told that if you rape a gal in Nepal, you'll go to jail or pay fine or both (Obviously); but if you rape her again, you need to pay only Rs. 50 as punishment. He had got tons of information like this about weird laws of Nepal. He made us laugh so much. But it's very true. I found most of Sajhabasi r ignorant like me about many facts n' issues in Nepal. So I'd like 2 share this fact.

History Lesson

विवाह गर्नुको परिणाम
बैंसमा प्रेम गर्नु, विवाह गर्नु सामान्य कुरा हो । तर यही सामान्य कुरालाई बहाना बनाएर दाङ जिल्लाको तुलसीपुर नगरपालिकास्थित एक निजी विद्यालयले आफ्ना एक छात्रलाई विद्यालयबाट निष्कासन गरेको छ । प्राप्त समाचारअनुसार अन्तरजातिय विवाह गरेका कारण यसरी निष्कासनमा पर्ने विद्यार्थी ईश्वर परियार हुन् । ईश्वरले तुलसीपुरकै अर्को विद्यालयकी अञ्जु वलीसँग प्रेमविवाह गरेका थिए । ईश्वरलाई ननिकाल्दा विद्यालयको छवि बिग्रने पि्रन्सिपल रेगु केसी बताउँछन् । 'उनलाई राख्दा अन्य अभिभावक रिसाउने भएकाले निकालेका हौं,' -पि्रन्सिपल केसीले बताए । उक्त घटनाको निजी विद्यालय अभिभावक संघ तथा दलित नेटवर्कले भत्र्सना गरेका छन् । विवाह गरेकै आधारमा विद्यार्थीलाई निष्कासन गर्न नमिल्ने उल्लेख गर्दै अभिभावक संघ दाङ जिल्ला अध्यक्ष निर्मल गौतमले उक्त घटनालाई अन्यायको पराकाष्ठा बताएका छन् ।

कपाल कोर्न कर गर्दा
अभिभावकले कुनै आवश्यक काम गर्न कर गर्दा कसैले आत्महत्या समेत गर्छन् भने त्यो नेपालमै हुने रहेछ । आमाले कपाल कोर्न कर गर्दा आत्महत्या गर्ने एक बालिका भक्तपुरमा देखिएकी छिन् । प्राप्त समाचारअनुसार भक्तपुर गुन्डु वडा नम्वर २ स्थित बसपार्क नजिक बस्ने हर्कबहादुर तामाङकी ११ वषर्ीया छोरी सिर्जनाले आमाले कपाल कोर्न निकै कर गरेपछि दिउँसो साढे १ बजे घरको माथिल्लो तलामा पछ्यौराको पासो लगाई आत्महत्या गरिन् । घटना हुँदा घरमा बालिका र आमा मात्र रहेको अनुसन्धानमा संलग्न प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । प्रारम्भिक अनुसन्धानअनुसार नुहाएर आएपछि आमाले तेल लगाउन र कपाल कोर्न कर गरेको केही क्षणमै सिर्जनाले आत्महत्या गरेको बताइन्छ । तामाङ दम्पतीका ६ छोराछोरीमध्ये कान्छी सिर्जना हठी स्वभावकी भएको प्रहरी सोधपुछका क्रममा परिवारजनले बताएका छन् ।

एक शिक्षकको भागमा
कतै खातैखात कतै पुर्पुरोमा हात भनेझै बाँके जिल्लाको रझनास्थित सगरमाथा प्राथमिक विद्यालयमा २ जना शिक्षकले ७ सय ५० विद्यार्थीलाई पढाउनुपरेको छ । मुलुकमा बढ्दो शैक्षिक बेरोजगारीका बाबजुद रझेनाको उक्त विद्यालयमा शिक्षकको अभाव हुनुलाई स्थानीय अभिभावकहरू जिल्ला शिक्षा कार्यालयको गलत नीतिलाई जिम्मेवार मान्छन् । विद्यालयका प्राध्यापक नन्दबहादुर चन्दका अनुसार जिल्ला शिक्षा कार्यालयले शिक्षक सहयोग कोटाअनुसार उपलब्ध गराएको दुईवटा दरबन्दी यसै वर्षदेखि हटाएपछि अहिले ती दुई शिक्षकले ७ सय ५० विद्यार्थीलाई पढाउनुपर्ने बाध्यता आइलागेको हो । उक्त विद्यालयमा दुई जना शिक्षकको मात्र दरबन्दी छ । गत वर्ष साढे तीन सय विद्यार्थी भएको सो विद्यालयमा सरकारले यसै वर्ष चलाएको भर्ना अभियानपछि विद्यार्थीको संख्या ह्वात्तै बढेको हो । रझेनास्थित विस्थापित शिविरमा रहेका बालबालिकालाई पनि सोही विद्यालयमा भर्ना गरिएको छ ।
प्रअ चन्द भन्छन्— भर्नाअभियानले विद्यार्थी बढेकै थिए । विस्थापित बालबालिका पनि भर्ना भएपछि त थाम्नै गाह्रो भएको छ ।

खानेपानीका लागि टोकन
कुनै बेला काठमाडौंमा टोकन लिएर मःमः खानुपर्ने एउटा रेस्टुराँको नाम जनजिब्रोमै झुन्डिएको थियो । त्यसबेला पानीका लागि पनि टोकन चाहिएला भनेर कसैले पनि सोचेका थिएनन्, तर अहिले त्यस्तै भएको छ । धेरैलाई अचम्म लाग्न सक्छ- खानेपानीका लागि टोकन । तर राजधानीको मध्यसहर काठमाडौं महानगरपालिका वडा नम्बर २९ म्हैपीवासी यो यथार्थ भोग्न बाध्य छन् । प्राप्त समाचारअनुसार यहाँका १ सय १९ परिवारका लागि टोकन हेरेर पानी वितरण हुँदै आएको छ । खानेपानी संस्थानबाट पानी मगाउन र वितरण गर्न उपभाेक्ता समिति गठन गरी उनीहरूले पाँच महिनाअघि यो नियम बसाएका हुन् । सबैलाई पानी पुर्žयाउन यो प्रक्रिया अपनाइएको समितिका संयोजक चन्द्रबहादुर श्रेष्ठ बताउँछन् । संस्थानले टोलमा ५ हजार लिटरको ट्यांकी राखिदिएको छ । संस्थानले सोमबार र बिहीबार पानी दिने गरेको छ । एक पटकमा प्रत्येक परिवारले ४० लिटर पानी पाउँछन् । ८० लिटरबाट उनीहरूले साता गुजार्नुपर्छ । पानी लगे-नलगेको छुट्याउन रजिस्टर राखिएको छ, -श्रेष्ठले बताए ।

okay, i don't know if that nepali rule is true or not, but that lincoln and kennedy is piece of trash

A month before Lincoln was assassinated he was in Monroe, Maryland.

A month before Kennedy was assassinated he was in Marilyn Monroe.

This is a latter-day addition to the list and nothing more than a bit of salacious humor.

Even as a humorous coincidence it fails the test, as Marilyn Monroe died well over a year before Kennedy's assassination.

This is one of those coincidences that isn't a coincidence at all -- it's simply wrong. John

Kennedy did have a secretary named Evelyn Lincoln (who may or may not have warned him about going to Dallas), but one searches in vain to find a Lincoln secretary named

Kennedy. (Lincoln's White House secretaries were John G. Nicolay and John Hay.)

Another "coincidence" that is both inaccurate and superficial.

Booth shot Lincoln in a theatre of the type where live stage shows are held, then fled across state lines before being trapped and killed in a tobacco shed several days later.
