Hi Has anyone any Idea of what we can do to help our country men, women and children? Specially, us who are abroad in other countries. I feel that if every Nepali overseas would form a unified campaign ora special club to help Nepalese .....it would start something good......Example....opening schools ...food..... drinking water....etc etc........ its just a thought please share your Ideas, thoughts and comments. thanks

nepal ma ajkal NGOs haru chyauu umrya jastaii umrya chan k. yini haru lai paisa donate garnu hunna, natra affai khanchan, i think the best way to help our coutnry is to individually fund education of boys and girls, espcially in rural nepal. opening schools and stuff, sure sound great, tara u need a lot of manpower, time commitment which nepalis living abroad wont be able to afford. if we start on a big project then eventually it will kind of fade away due to lack of commitment, u know waht i mean? but if we pay for schooling of a few students, it won't be costing that much, it is highly efficeint, it is actaully making a difference in someone else's life....

THREE THINGS YOU CAN DO. 1. HELP ONE PERSON COMPLETE HIS EDUCATION. MAKE IT EASY. DONT BURDEN YOURSELF TOO MUCH. 2. CONVINCE ONE OF YOUR FRIENDS TO DO THE SAME. 3. CONVINCE THE SAME PERSON TO CARRY ON.

How about a reliable club or an organization that we all abroad can form in order to help??..................Im pretty sure if enough people participate........we could be heading some where..............Once a wise man said...........dont give a hungry man a Fish.......it is better to teach him how to fish.........So EDUCATION is the key.....but the current situation in Nepal just might deter the willing few.

MadDogg: I agree with lfc123....take financial responsibility of a student(s) from your former school/school you know who is financially deprived....pay his hostel fees...etc....Investing in NGOs is like pouring water on sand....Remind you, the money donated to the NGO's pays their bills, office rent...and other misc expences and only the leftovers makes it to the deserving party....Just my two cents...........However, the decision is solely yours..
