Has anyone heard people shouting to kill George Bush and to throw the thief out of the country? Yes, there are differences in a society , you differ in policies but that does not mean that you should discard civil demonstration altogether and resort to unethical practises.

King Gyanendra is a head of state as per the law of Nepal just as George Bush is head of state as per the law of USA. For God's sake, he is the King as per the Constitution of Nepal which was drafted by all and sundry in 2046. Have some civility even while protesting.

And those who may claim that George Bush was elected and King Gyanendra is not should understand the bottomline. Both are head of state as per the constitution of their respective country. Otherwise a Red Indian would be the president of America if the whites had not invaded the continent and taken the land by force.

ShresthaN,
This movement is not to change the prime minister. This movement is not for creating pressure for a bill, or to make a law under the existing constitution. This movement is to complete reformation of the country. This is not only a demonstration but also a revolution. Yes, Peoples revolution. This revolution is trying to remove 250 yrs old royal corrupted feudal regime to establish a people’s democracy (loktantra). Give me an example where such revolution is taken place following the constitution? It does not make sense to me that revolution can go under existing constitution.
The basis of this movement is whether or not we accept king for the days to come. Observing at the current movement, one can trace a line to show how much and who wants king in Nepal. My priorities are peace, democratic, prosperous Nepal without any type of monarchy. Nepal can no longer bear white elephant.

Ramjhingni,

Thanks for the correction. I was mistaken..
I was talking about Joseph Estrada; not Fidel Ramos
