Birthdates of "royal kids" in official website: Conspiracy or slip-up?
Kantipur Report
KATHMANDU, Aug 7 - The official website of the Nepal Monarchy (http://www.nepalmonarchy.gov.np/) mentions the date of birth of Yuvarajkumari Purnika to be December 11, 2002, meaning she was born 4 month and 11 days after Nava Yuvaraj Hridayendra (July 30, 2002) was born.
The actual date of birth of Princess Purnika is December 11, 2000.
This gives a fair idea that Yuvraj Hridayendra would be in line to the throne, instead of Yuvrajkumari Purnika who should have been the rightful candidate as per the recent amendment.
The government on July 31 decided to amend the law pertaining to the heir to the throne, allowing the first child of the king to be the monarch.
At this juncture, the question rises whether the official website is trying to spread the message that Nava Yuvaraj Hridayendra being elder than Yuvarajkumari Purnika is in line to the throne or is it simply a human error reflected in the website? If it is so, shouldn’t the official website correct such blunders swiftly?
