You might find a good deal here. You just forward the number to your cell phone or your home phone. Costs around 10 cents a minute. You also get a plan where you get 300 (or more) free minutes, and 10 -15 cents if you exceed your free minutes.

You can get the 1800 number thru these sites. You can even assign your home number to Nepal. But the drawback is the technicality and the cost. It will be pretty tough to get the line connection to nepal, the connection quality will be pretty bad. and the second issue is the cost, the connection charge to redirect in international number is more than the phone cards we get in US. On top of that you need to pay the per minute charge to the service provider for using 1800 number Rest is on to you if you want to enjoy the number 1800-BaAaama go ahead

The best idea for unlimited call to Nepal is to buy internet broadband phone system in USA like vonage, broadvoice, sunrocket etc and then send the device to Nepal. In this way, you will have USA number in Nepal. But the backdraw is VOIP is illegal in Nepal and internet service is very poor. Even those called as broadband in Nepal (I tried with Wlink) is very bad. Its name is just broadband, its slower than dialup. So, only if you can have good internet connection in Nepal then you can use these devices.
