Prachanda is the wisest and inteligent revoutionary agent in the world. no rebels forces ever in the history of world has come to do such peace agreement like in nepal. its all because of Prachanda not even baburam. baburam always is hard corner. instead of blaming maoist, we should understand the reason why we should not hate maoist and start changing our attitude to join hands with them. Like other party, they certainly have th rights of speech to talk something about " saddam hussein.we should appreciate other's statement

Maoists have a history of violence like Muslims. Kill Muslims, Kill Maoists. Declare Hinduttwa in Nepal. The last kingdom on earth sounds much better and we all were born in it.

jaymatadi, Here it is not a point that maoist should be allowed to speak or not. We definitely want to hear from them. But look at their views. We cannot accept anything for the sake of speech freedom. They haven't completely abandoned their destructive ideology and yet condemning the capital punishment. I remember a photograph of a teacher, tied and shot in front of his students published in Nepal or Himal khabarpatrika few years ago, when Mahara condemned the capital punishment. I would have kept silent if Mahara had just condemned the killing of Saddam. It is said so called peace has been innovated in Nepal. If maoist are true then they should now come up with some thing new to show good harmony for building new Nepal. But look at them, even now they are luring children to join maoist army. So, what's the difference between Saddam's Bath party and Nepalese Maoist Party? Maoist leaders have done wrong. They should be held responsible for their atrocities in the past. They deserve punishment. If maoist can come clean it should be lead by new people not those craps whose bullet speaks louder than their words. They all have to pay their dues. peace

And still they are doing these things: Maoists lock more offices Kantipur Report DAMAK, Jan 1 - Maoists padlocked five municipal and VDC offices in Jhapa district Sunday. Offices of Damak, Bhadrapur and Mechinagar municipalities and Korobari and Juropani VDCs were those padlocked. Maoists said it was for putting pressure on the government for early promulgation of interim constitution and formation of interim government. Maoists' Mechi bureau secretary "Apar" said they would not unlock the offices until the promulgation of the interim constitution. He further added they would continue padlocking other government offices. Chief District Officer Jaya Mukunda Khanal urged the Maoists to unlock the offices in line with the promise made by Maoist chairman Prachanda to PM Girija Prasad Koirala during their phone conversation Friday. Chief District Officer Khanal urged the political parties to help unlock those offices. Meanwhile, Maoists and officials from Biratnagar sub-metropolis Sunday afternoon unlocked the main gate of the office after holding talks. After the talks held among the officials, Maoists and other party representatives, the Maoists agreed that they would not hinder the work of sub-metropolis. Warning the sub-metropolis officials not to run any activities until the Maoists join the soon-to-be formed interim government, the latter had padlocked the office on Friday.

Lets just face it: Maoists are terrorists and nothing else. They're criminals. Signing the peact treaty is nothing more then their mere medium to joint the political stream. And we're all falling into their deception. I cannot even imagine nepal being run by Prachanda (if they win the election)

Just to put this in perspective ; See how Criminals in Nepal are fearless about killing, abducting and violating others rights; in absence of severe consequences like death penalty. Not that death penalty is solution to the problems but would definitely be a deterrent; see Saudi stats. See how Prachanda is against death penalty ? duh! One can walk around killing people without a chance of ever being killed; that is a low risk undertaking. I don't see a deterrent; just wait until some one u love or urself will be caught in this act.
