Has anybody noticed Glen Beck's idiotic remarks on "foreigners" and "immigrants". CNN is supposed to be more 'inclusive' though. At least that is my understanding. Where did this sucker come from; as if "Fox News" did not exist!!!

ya, I used to be great fan of Glenn Beck's show....But once i start hearing his resist views....damn...I just wanna kill him... He is so racist that there is no single show where he hasn't expressed his racist views... He needs to be behaded by Al Qyaeda He thinks that he is a superman...... He asks questions to illegal immigrant, muslims and other minority people and dont allow them to answer.i.e: He asks questions and answer it by himself.. I think CNN need to stop his racist program.

This is exactly what I dont understand, Guys you are talking as if there is only one news channel in USA. If you dont like him tune into Keith Olbermann on MSNBC. Frankly speaking I thank people like Glen Beck, Bill o reilly, seann hanity, Michael savage, pat buchannan, michelle malkin, curtis sliwa, john gibson, rush limbaugh etc Cause if it was not for these people, there would have been no demonstration by immigrnts all over USA (remember last year almost million people marched in various cities). Its kind of amazing that i have seen many people who hate fo news but thats the channel they watch me, includes me too.. its probably that we want to see how disgusting the journalism can go up to..... For Fair and Balance watch BBC

Yes, this Beck, son of a bitch, is really harassing everybody. As if his 'say' counts anything compared to others' FARTING. I was surprised to see him cutting off a Democratic Senator's voice in the middle. Later, the addict was ready to suck Jerry Falwell's dick. (he was just slack in front of that Crusader!!!). Son of bitches: Jerry Falwell and Glen Beck !!!

nepalichhoro, The matter here is not tunning other channel (and you do not need to tell people so), the matter is how somebody is like. People like you and jayamatadi can not differenciate who is shitting on you and who is not. So kiss your godfather's ass.

NG Thuldai, I am afraid, there is some communication misfire happening at this point. I don't think Jaimatadi, or Nepalichhoro want to support racism in any form. Just a precaution, in case anything untoward occurs in this thread.

With good arts of wording, big fat lies can be convincing and the truth is never known. Neocons are ahead of this and media is for sell...always. Look if foxnews was there in history making...

I am not sure if I missed the ones that you guys have seen, but I always thought he was doing a good job. It might come off as racist remarks at times, but my belief was that he was just being open and real. His question to the Muslim Congressman, to Raj Bhakta etc was a question that any other Americans would have. If that's racism then may be he is guilty as charged. At times we need to be less defensive and more open. Racism is a sensitive issue and you'd hope that people treat it delicately, but that is a high expectation. Realty is that we are in a practical assimilated world with pre conceieved notions and prejudice; the news channels responsibility is present that in a formal way; not change it.

DWI, Thats not the point. He formed the question in such a way as to ridicule the Congressman just because he was a muslim. In other words, it was dishonest. He could have formed the question in a much better way in an honest and sensible way. But such is his utter disregard for the rule of open society that he is now ridiculing someone because of his religion. This is what he said the other day on a legislation to pull US troops out of Iraq, which is a responsible thing to do. "If your bill goes through I hope you can't go to bed any single night without the images of bodybags of our American soldiers coming off those planes - I hope they dance in your head every single night. Because you will be just as responsible for their deaths as anyone who has ever strapped a bomb to their chest and screamed Allah Akbar." By the same token, he and his cronies at the Administration, are responsible for the deaths of more than 3200 US troops and thousands of Iraqis. Why doesn't he then condemn those actions. He is full of hate and makes no logical reasoning being a headline achorman for CNN.

LOL Mr Truth - neat pics there. A bit hard-hitting I suppose but very creative :) CNN trying to be "Foxier" than Fox? :) Fox has evolved from a right-wing insurgency station to pretty much trash TV. It seems CNN is always late in catching up - it missed the right wing insurgency when it was hot in the nineties and now when the trends show the center is "hot" once again, CNN , by this example, seems a little late in spotting it. I, like many other people, have stopped watching the 3 major news channels for quite a while and get most of my news from public TV and some of the other news institutions out there that have the ability to deliver news without screaming. I have found there is sufficient conservative and liberal opinion in the "saner" media : NYT (slightly liberal), The Economist (slightly conservative), columnists like George Will and David Brooks conservatives) and most major broadsheets in the country provide a balanced left-right-center perspective. Not to forget C-SPAN, prolly the most balanced network anywhere on the planet. When I stopped watching the major TV channels, my fear was I would loose out on staying current with what's happening around me and would shut myself out from the voices of ordinary folks. The last one year or so has proved quite the opposite. By focusing on the quieter media, I have found I can stay much more informed about current affairs because I am not distracted by the shouting and high emotions that has become so characteristic of the three news channels. This allows me to get to the substance of the issue quicker than I could ever have by getting my news from Fox, CNN or MSNBC. I do peek in every now and then - I caught a few minutes of Chris Matthews the other day. After 10 minutes, I switched to C-SPAN again feeling vindicated and quite satisfied that I had not missed out anything :) Sorry if I digressed a bit but the discussion was too tempting to not reply. :)

If you want some objective news, keep away from cable tv. The only way cable TV news channels can make money is by clanging on pans and making as much noise as they can. They'd rather provoke people and cause a stir than deliver just plain old news. That's why the news personalities we know are either far left loons or right wing nuts. And for the record, Bill O'Reilly is actually one the sanest of the lot. Some of what he says does make sense. It's his bloated ego that overshadows that little semblance of common sense he has.

Too much is too much. Tonight he was discussing Bible! This Mom F***er Red Neck has come down to Biblical Prophecies. He has lost his mind; he can not handle politics or even raciial/cultural questions. He is down to the old stock of trade--evangelical prophesies. Damn you, idiot!!!

I couldn't agree more, NiceGuy. But the truth is that most of Americans don't have a sensibility beyond what Glenn Beck (buck) discusses. This the land of opportunity because it is still populated by too many ignorant dupes.
