It is really really a very sad news for all the Cricket fan. This unfortunate incident shows the tension and pressure associated with Cricket in Indian-subcontinent. May his good soul rest in peace.

He was one of the very few "thinking" person surrounding cricket. After the match yestarday, I was so sorry for him, even though I dont like Pakistan as a team. Woolmer was a very strong person. It seems there is something going on beyond cricket. Hansie Cronje and now Woolmer.... May his soul rest in peace. I surely will miss him.

this is probably the lowest point of pakistani cricket. the pressure from media and people is just tooooo humongous and overwhelming.... yeah but let's wait for the news to unfold... future coaches!!!! think twice before taking jobs from sub-continent nations....?

I will not be surprised if the incident is due to...excessive drinking last night because of tension causing a heart attack as the news says he was choked in vomit lying on floor in his hotel room.

Cricket is never beyond one's life. He was fighting against all odds of the pressure associated with coaching a sub-continent team particularly with the fans that are so emotional and passionate about the game. I am sorry for his family for this terrible loss. He was a great coach that tried to bring a scandal filled Pakistan team out of the brink of disaster. The loss of the game against Ireland took an immense toll in him and could have caused his demise. This is a sad loss.

What a shocking news!!!!!!!!!, Just yesterday, i was watching the game and saw red and worried face Bob Woolmer as pakis were getting nailed by irish, and today to read the news about his death!!!!! just never expected.. i supported pakis many times and they are one of my fav teams, but due to their recent troubles with the players, I wanted Ireland to win. It is very rare or never that I had truly supported the opposite team (Ireland), but than this incident happened. RIP Bobbie..
