Sajha Biz Pages have been created in order to facilitate the connection between sajha visitors and Nepali Business owners. It would be nice to have a functional directory of Nepali owned businesses where sajha users can have the benefit of being able to choose from one of our own while doing business in a foreign land. The ability to choose from a Nepali travel agency or a Nepali Lawyer or a Nepali Hair Dresser perhaps.

With that in mind, I have created the Sajha Biz Pages whereby any sajha user can add businesses that they own, are affiliated with, or would like to share with others in sajha. In addition Nepali business owners can have their own page within the Sajha Biz Pages (ie. http://biz.companyname.sajha.com) where they have design their own page using wysiwyg editors and the ability to upload their own images. Whoever adds a company can always go back and edit the pages or the information.

Wow....great idea San. This was something in my mind for so long. I was thinking that there should be central database for business outside (or may be inside) of Nepal. This will help the business to network with each other and get the help they need.

BTW, on a somewhat unrelated note, any idea when the "Friends" functionality might be available and how it will work? It would be cool to see who on your friends list is online and be able to chat with them (if it isn't too much of a big deal technically to have such a thing). Also, to be able to subscribe to somebody's posts (eg have the option to get an email when someone posts or to see the last 5 posts by a particular person on the buddy list)

Just some food for thought.
