Hey guys, I am seeking for your advice from experience of yourself or others.
A started to work with company X in CPT for 6 months (All course work were completed except Thesis submission).
Then he continued to work in same company in OPT.
During OPT He submitted Thesis and Graduated.

Now - Can he use the Masters Degree to file Green Card from the same company. One lawyer says no. But I have seen the another one case with similar situation but his lawyer filed LC and then Green Card.
Just curious to know if you have any similar situation and what you did.

If you want to file the greencard under eb2 then you will have to get a new job. Your job should require a master degree to file under eb2 but you started working in the company without a master degree. Meaning your job doesn't require a master degree. You can try to file the greencard under eb2 but most probably you will get audited.
