As an alternative to current scenario, why not we opt for making Mahabir pun either PM or President of Nepal ? If Nepalese people can do anything, let's raise voice and do andolan to make him president / PM of Nepal

Jagat, I am with you. If he become PM or whatever of Nepal, one thing for sure Nepal will be known as a cybel land. Which is not bad at all.

I am not spoiling him. He has a clear and defined vision. In Nepal, we have been searching for this kind of personality to lead Nepal. Here're few points to prove that he is suitable for leading Nepal:
i. He came back from US to Nepal with a dream to connect unknown small village to the world despite grabbing big opportunities in US.
ii. He is influential. He convinced many volunteers to come to Nepal in order to make his dream come true.
iii. He has a clear objective and vision and strategies: He know how much can he achieve and how to proceed.

Guys Wait !!!!!
I don't agree with you. Do you guys remember Once there was "Dr. Upendra Devkota", a highly reputed neuroseurgon of Nepal, as our Health Minster. But...........you know what he did. If you want Mr. Pun be the "Member" of Planning Commission, it would sound "More Practical" than just another Kurakani .

why are you so pessimistic and unsupportive. It's because your family are the politicians, or they're Royal's chamcha? or they're the murderers?
I think Mahabir Pun is 100% fit, infact way more eligible than the so called leaders.

I don't see leadership capabilities in Dr. Devkota. He is perfect as a neurosurgeon. He is a very very busy fellow and if he stops going to clinics and hopitals, you can guess how many people will suffer ! Even when he was made minister, he was not able to devote full time as a minister.
And Mr. Pun in planning commission ? I don't think personality like him should be in planning commission because he has leadership skills and we are in need of leader now. I bet if a referndum is done in this regard instead of doing it for should we keep the king or not, then almost 90% will favor him being PM/President.

Lets not involve him into politics, it would be nice if governments take suggestions and ideas from him. Making him busy with dirty job of politics is bad idea.
Just think, if he can do it without their support, how much he would do with the support.

Well nice discussion goin on here. Whether or not to involve Mr. Pun in politics is a million dollar question i think. Politics is a big messy game everywhere and so to involve in Politics i think have both pros and cons aspects. If he is involved, there might be a new spirit in political field since his leadership skills has been proved to be outstanding. On the other hand in my view politics is a game of keep'em, use'em, and kick'em as well so i don't know if Mr. Pun will be willing to play this kind of game, coz this kinda game pretty much kills the drives within a person. I think there should be a position created for him especially which has more respect than politics.
