PC slow bhayo? hmm.. How baout 'feeding' some Red Bull or perhaps two or three expresso-shots 'data'? :P
On a somwhat serious note - if you are positive about MSN being the ONLY reason behind your computers slow performance, how about uninstalling the program?? Na rahega bass na baaje gi basuri.

Do the Following it will help pc run fast. Click start click Run type"msconfig" pop up box will appear click start up here is the tricky part. unckeck most of the items that will be started on your start up. this will reduce the time when your windows start. remember to keep the basic items like clock, wireless, and so on. do not remove anything that says System32 on the command column. and for your msn problem. msn is starting up when your computer boots. so unclick on that say msnmessenger or something like that. also whenever you install anything choose the option not to create shortcuts and icons. hope it helps. if need more send me an email Texas Rocks.

xcopsgen said what I was about to. But I would also recommend you Defrag you computer, atleast once a month. If you have windows XP click Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Defragmenter or run "%SystemRoot%\System32\dfrg.msc" same thing you want to defrag you main drive/partition if you have multiple, most likely C: drive. Do this once a month to improve speed of your computer. Also you might want to run check for spyware/malaware on a regular basis to make sure nothing else is hogging your system memory.

In addition, you could download these programs to clean up your PC. Go to www.download.com and download/install Lavasoft Adaware and Spybot Search & Destroy. Hope that helps.
