Hi My cousin is starting his first year at the University of Central Oklahoma. This is his first time in time in the US and doesn't have any friends in OK.

Tell your cousin to contact the Nepalese Association at the UCO and he'll be just fine. There are many Nepalese students there and they will help in any and every way possible.

Its not a good thing! Being around too many Nepalese seriously injures communication skills. Tell your cousin to spread his/her wings and be independent.

Shilpa ji,
I understand ur problem. I spend a semester in that university and moved to other state. There is the nepalese student association and Sony kc is presiding it. They are responsoble for helping new nepalese students out there. They can find the apartment and even the friends. The new student coming there can regularly contact to any intl advisor as i did the same. Once ur cousin reach there, its all just to find the roomate and to be familiar with the system, else it is good fo r first timer at US. it is helpful to get social security no. with ease. Many Nepalese studetns are there, so i dont think it will not have much proble. If u need more information, u can mail me without hesiataion.
