dude, just mail it. you sud receive a new passport within 2 weeks.

Call them and get information.

Don't ever expect that the phone will be answered in the Nepali Embassy. As you call, after some recorded information, you will even hear the request "Please don't leave any message in the voicemail," and even when you dare to leave a voicemail, what you will hear is "This voicemail is full." That's such a shame.

What I suggest is just print and fill up the form, send along with photographs, return postage paid envelope, and money order; you should be able to get your new passport within 2 weeks.

 

Jantar mantar is right. And expect some delays..Sometimes they won't even bother to inform you if your form dosen't have adequate /correct infos  unless you take the initation.  Keep the copy of money order with you ..sometimes they say we didn't even receive that and send it again.

I renewed my passport about one year ago at the NY location... filled out the form, went and submitted it along with a money order and old passport in person.... the guy gave me a receipt and asked me to come back in four weeks.. i asked him if he could get it done any earlier and he told me to come back in three weeks.... went back 3 weeks later and picked up my old and new passports... i dont know if anything has changed in the last one year...
