that is because UML was showing dual character. They were never certain abt any thing. Even in Aandolan, they had no stand on any thing. Either Girija or Prachanda were deciding every thing. Its obvious they lost their support from public. Sayad 'Partigaman' is corrected bhanera government ma janu was harmful to them.

This is not encouraging for UML that they are loosing. But I think Maoist can do better for Country then UML so UML is loosing. If you have the choice between "good" and "better" then of course anyone will choose "better" then sticking with "good".

Nice work 3X
This Shows to me that Maoist has a Stationary Time Series with fixed mean and fixed variance. And moreover they have less Model Prediction errors and good Autocorrelation, partial autocorrelation, and inverse autocorrelation.
And UML has seasonal Components on them which tells us although they have fixed mean the Variance is Changing a lot.
In NC there is a lot of noises which is not good at all.
So the best Model would be one with Stationary Time Series

Beinga UML Supporter I am disappointed with their dual nature on all decisions they made. Madhav Kumar Nepal has been on the chief chair for years and never made a good contribution. After Manmohan Adhikari they could not even find someone to be party leader. This party has somewhat lost track and I think most of its votes are now taken by maoist.
Nepali people have given Maoist a chance but these are killers. Killers are never good for a country. I hope anything what happens happens right so that Nepalese would not have to suffer again.

Similar topics are floating everywhere. Let me just paste a piece from other thread here.
It seems, maoist are heading to majority. I think, it will surely become the largest party if not win the majority. They are leading well in almost all the counts so far, and they will do even better in proportional ballets, because, several NC and UML voters have chosed them for proportional seat due to their slogan - Give a chance to maoist this time. Congress has done as it was expected to do and UML got landslide defeat. Perhaps, (as someone said) UML might need to go Jungle to re-gain its old-age attraction. Otherwise, we will see a flood of party-switching middle layer leaders joing maoist leaving UML.
The massive loss of UML is due to several reasons -
(1) overconfident
(2) its NGO-INGO loving cadres, who knows how to make sweet-talks, but no time to spend with people; who knows how to capture position in party and government, but no honest effort to serve the position.
(3) vegetarian politics - never take risk but try to grab opportunity
(4) too flexible policy
(5) failure to defend attacks against them from both extreme right and left corner.
(6) failure to understand ethnic interest and inclusive representation, they are understood like bahun's party, even if they have a number of non-bahuns, because people like pradeep nepal, modnath prashrit etc. have repeatedly hurt ethnic sentiments.

I am NC supporter but still I feel sorry for UML. I think UML and NC should unite and be one party to defet Maobadi and save nation to become North Korea in South East Asia.

I agree with u guys,UML needs a good lesson and it seems it got it.I used to be a supporter of this party but I never got any good remarks from its leaders.I supported it becoz NC was still BAD too much bad In my judgement,it is the real feeling of some Fair Nepali people who has once tried to test Maoist.

Some of the reasons I saw for UML Defeat: 1. Party Division in previous election. 2. Non Decisive party management. 3. Lack of ethnic variation at party management. 4. No any legendary leader like Girija and Deuba of NC, Prachanda and Baburam of Maoists. They dont even have any leader comparable to Surya Bahadur Thapa or even those of Terai parties. I dont consider Madhav Nepal as legendary politician. 5. Another few Communist Parties as alternitave, mainly Maoist. Communists vote is divided. The serious casauilty being UML.
